Aly you are too sweet

Hevyn ~ I haven't seen the Kelly Clarkson Show but my sister loves it....I saw her in concert several years ago & it was a lot of fun....so cool that she included Puppy Bowl on her show.

Awww, Purps. I went back and forth between bowls. I sure hope they all got home. My mom and I were watching it and it was adorable.
Maybe the tiredness I feel is from having so much fun watching all the bowls I flipped through yesterday! Lol. A puppy and kitten hangover. I'll take that over the other kind anyday!
It was fun! Glad you posted and have a wonderful rest of the day!
Oh, get this, the new neighbors who moved in are the neighbors from hell. He put a tack in my mom's tire and told her about it. Not that he'd admit to it.
He threatened to kill a cat in my earshot. I said, you kill that cat, I'm calling the police and you will go to jail. Next thing we get a letter from the HOA saying we're feeding feral cats, it's a mess and smells. Nothing of the sort is true. I could go on for days. I wrote to the FBI and ICE about him, as he is a very macho guy from Russia. I could go on but I won't. Why can't people just mind their own business and not threaten to kill animal. Man, if I were the idiot woman living with him, well let's just say I'd never live with him. She has 2 beautiful daughters she's exposing to that pervert and his slimy friends. Oh well, they say what goes around comes around. I think she's probably the type of woman who moves a lot of guys in and out. The poor girls.
Anyway, Love you!!! ♥♥♥

Aly - That is so horrible and unfair.

Puppy/Kitty hangover - I love it.

Thank you, Hev.
They play dirty. They're the ones that behave like feral street cats. She has a salon of some sort and they do all their laundry here, including all the towels, etc from her commercial salon. Every week they break a washer and /or a dryer, and don't call to have it repaired. They are real creeps.

Thanks Purps. I heard they signed a two year lease, God, I hope that's not true. I don't get the feeling they are real happy here. These are all condos and my mom owns hers but this is a place that has an enormous amount of renters, so it sucks.
I hope it's a matter of time!
I saw Bella got adopted from ARF. She's been there so long. I'm just thrilled she got a home.
Thanks for the support my friends. All my love to all of you.

Aly, those neighbors sound awful! I hope they break their lease and move out soon. Document everything he does/says. Dates and times.

Thank you, least. They are a nightmare. I'm trying to avoid them as much as possible. But they are so nosey. I'd love to scream in his face MYOB, but I won't.

Going to my ARF Thrift store shift this morning. My back is really bothering me and I kind of wish I didn't have to go. But it will be good for me. I have my ARF tie dyed shirt on. I'm the only one who gets hot in there. Probably because I'm one of the few who actually moves around a lot, putting things away, cleaning, etc. Some of the ladies plant themselves at a station and don't move. Oh well. Once I can get that class for mobile adoptions and start doing that, I may drop the Thrift Store shift. Most of the people are really nice, but after a period of time you start to notice who doesn't like who, and all the weird things that come up when you work with an amount of people in a small space. But, I am committed to today, so I'm off soon.
Have a great day, dog lovers!!! All my love to you all! ♥♥♥

Welcome Sunpengwn! We all love dogs, probably all animals here and we do talk about some other stuff too, as we are getting to know each other and care about everyone's life! I hope you enjoy this as much as we do!

Good to see you here, sunpengwn. I'm sure your babies are adorable. 16 - what a great age to reach.

Aly - I hope your back's somewhat better today.

I went to on the local Humane Society's website and looked at the info to volunteer.....there are steps that need to be done first, so there is an information session next Saturday, kinda like orientation I guess, so I signed up for that. The place I originally planned to volunteer is much further away, so maybe since this one is closer I'll be able to go more often.

My mom never got to see Puppy Bowl when it aired, but she has the Firestick thing on her tv and can replay it....so later I'm gonna go see her + brat cat and watch it again! Kitty's like "Oh great, here we go with those damn dogs again!"

Sounds awesome Purps. I think the Humane Society would be perfect for you. You should be a greeter/outlook person. You are so good and very careful to be non political. I hope they can train you for what you want to do. Sometimes those places do offer some excellent training. Let us know how it goes.
Have fun with your mom! It sounds fun. I see Pit Bulls is on later, around 4, CA time. That show really lets us see the nitty gritty of dog rescue on a large level. I think Tia is the Mother Teresa for dogs and black cats. I've learned a lot of good training tips from her too. Some people have a hard time watching it, but after having horses and working for an equine vet, I can handle a lot more now. What I love is that they'll get dogs in there that are in such horrible shape and many months later, they look beautiful and healthy. I always want homes for all of them. I have to get this new crew in my head at ARF. All the other ones got adopted! Awesome.
Have fun Purps!

Thanks Aly ~ hope your shift went well....it's so easy to get attached to all the animals. On the application I selected kennel duties, canine care and cat care for what I'd be interested in....pretty much everything but interacting with people, Lol....of course I have to do that at some point, tho....I can play nice
