Beautiful pics Ann. Perhaps of thinking about how to share my story and sharing it in a non dramatic way is a way of getting a mindful perspective on it all. I do not invite comment- but I still have moments where the entire episode seems to bad to be true, so perhaps that is part of the reason. I think carefully on my words- words change- I change.

Well done Daisy. Your country's politics is intriguing

Great fainting dog Suki.

Daisy so terrible what happened to your cousin and so pointless. When will people learn to leave their phones alone when driving.

Time to snuggle with Billie under the blanket. I always go to sleep feeling peaceful and content with her next to me.

to accept the status quo, not push or worry. So long, of course such acceptance is not with matters that should be addressed- like health, safety, sobriety....

PJ, one day at a time, one issue at a time, you have moved along and are on a good path. We are all very proud of you.

Rain here, this morning, it's starting as a lazy day but I think I need to get out the suitcases and start preparing so that this coming week isn't overwhelming. Medical stuff Wed, that's it, but it will be a long day.

Happy Weekend everyone.

We walked by the lake this morning, I have never seen so many monarch butterflies. They must be heading to Mexico. I have notice lots of milkweed back which they need to survive, so hopefully they will flourish once more.

Does anyone know when Hev will return? I miss her happy face here.

I am pisssed. I was expecting a pkg today and got a notice saying that the delivery guy was "unable to access the front door" to deliver it. There is no "access" to the door other than the gate you have to go thru. I chatted with an Amazon rep and said to tell the carrier to come back and deliver it today or refund my two day shipping charges!!

I've never had any problems, they've always left packages at the front or back door, now suddenly they have problems? I think they might have gone to the wrong address.

I don't know when Hev will be back. I miss her too.

I got my pkg. I chatted with Amazon and gave them my phone number and the delivery driver called me. She came right by and handed it to me. She said she couldn't open the hook on the front gate. It's a child-proof cupboard hook where you have to pull the spring back to unhook it. Funny that it stopped her, it never stopped the kids from getting in the cupboards...

Anyway, I'm happy now. I sent a message to Amazon praising their customer service reps for helping me. I'm going to put a sign on the front gate saying "PLEASE USE SIDE GATE". Maybe that will solve the problem.

Just took Billie for a little walk and she sent a peemail.

Fed Billie and took her for a long, productive walk.

Today when bro came by, he visited and then took me to the store. Going down our street, we came to the end of the street and a young guy was standing in the curb like he was about to cross the street. Imagine my shock when he stepped out into the street as we approached and crossed as if there were no cars in the street!! Bro freaked out. The guy stepped into the street and right in the path of the car! Sheesh!

Ann, get started packing before your departure date is imminent.

Ann, yet again I have put aside my own doubts about this whole matter of you going 'whale watching' (which is double speak for colluding with conspirator whales). The anguish and suffering on this matter would, no doubt drive many to having the vapours or melancholy hysterianism. I do not get the vapours.

SO- to business. To more fully experience your 'whale watching', I have yet again, spent many, many seconds on researching subtle whale tattoos- so when you look at it-the tattoo, you will smile and remember that day when your went WW.

If you can practice your whale song, perhaps if you went swimming with our mammalian cousins, they may think you - with the tattoo, are a dwarf pygmy white mini whale.

For you PJ, a little music for your sanity drives. Todd Rundgren is good at top volume. Good driving beat... get it?

Good morning Whiners, I hope you're all well. It's a beautiful sunny morning here and I hope the sunshine is here for the day as I've got the step g.children again. Mum is much better but still not as she should be so she's back to the Doctor's this week. Baby is a month old tomorrow. Time flies.
Thank you all for your kind word re my poor maths, onwards and upwards now towards October.

Thank you Least and you know next time you can say something if a taxi driver is using his phone whilst driving. It's very selfish of them to do that apart from it being illegal.

Ann, I shall enjoy the cake thank you and I shall also look forward to the next one. Your vacation will be amazing, I feel excited for you, not long to wait now.
I miss Hevyn too.

Oh my goodness Suki, that dog

Thank you P.J and as Ann said, we are all proud of you and your achievements.

Thank you Mags, I see people using their mobile phones whilst driving every day, it really makes me so cross, they just don't seem to care and there aren't enough police to do much about it.

Good idea to put a sign on your gate Least, it might just do the trick, worth a try anyway. Oh children have a such a knack of getting into places where they shouldn't be, my lot are really good at it.

Wow P.J, that really is a subtle tattoo. Not.

Oooh nothing like a bit of Todd Rundgren Least. I'll have him on top volume in my car any time.

I've downloaded my pics from York onto the lap top at last, so here a few for you to look at.

York city walls.

Morning Whiners

Daisy great photos. I’ve seem Betty’s busy but never queued on the street! I love the shambles, haven’t been for years. Love it.

PJ, that’s some tattoo! Great art, still not sure of it on the skin though, having needles voluntary.

It’s a beautiful Sunday morning here.

Least I’m pleased you got sorted with Amazon. Good idea to put a sign there.

Ann not long now for your holidays.

Love to all. xxxx

Mags, I like "The Shop That Must Not Be Named" and "Park Your Broom" signs, lol. Beautiful pictures and lovely city. I do love those big cathedrals, so much history.

PJ, no tats for this gal. Although I must say, that's a lovely whale.

I was dreaming frustrating airport dreams last night. Looking for boarding passes and wondering why I had only a few things in my suitcase...maybe it's a sign to pack light. It's only for 2 weeks and there is laundry at the hotel.

Off to church this morning. Our new minister is taking a Vancouver-Alaska cruise leaving later this week, I think. I told him when he returns along Discovery Passage I will wave as he passes.

Have a restful, wonderful day everyone.
