Suki, the sweatpants I have now, I ordered online. I was amazed at how well they fit when I got them, so I ordered more.

Shopping online is much nicer. No crowds or waiting in line. And you don't have to drive to get to the store.

Just took Billie for a walk and she did a LW.

I agree that hospitals are the germiest places. I don't know how the germs survive tho, as our local hospital keeps the temp so low it's uncomfortably cold.

Mags, get lots of fluids so you don't dehydrate.

Ann, glad Bubba had a nice birthday.

Mags, drink lots of fluids. So sorry you caught a bug. Hope you're resting.

Suze, I got the pneumonia vaccine, so thankfully, I don't have that.

Ann, I'm feeling a little better every day. Trying to regain my strength and rest when possible.

Suki, I hope you find something that fits. You cannot go around with your pants ready to fall off. Though you could wrap a belt around your rear and be in style with the youngsters.

Praying for all in El Paso.

I said that exact thing to a friend of mine! I would fit in at Walmart, too!

Least, I might get some sweats to wear in the winter. Right now, I have about half a dozen of these in different colors that I wear. Very comfy.

Daisy - Yes, finally getting back in the swing. I felt like I was gone for a month.

Suki - Sizes are so inconsistent. One brand's 8 is another brand's 10, etc. I hope your stuff fits.

Oh, I like that! Well, no, I didn't mean to get sweats in the summer, just that's what I ordered online and they fit so well.

Fed Billie and took her for a walk after supper. She didn't do anything cause she'd already done her business before she ate.

Can't believe how quickly the days are flying by...

Hevyn...that's why I always buy Liz Claiborne pants. They always fit me well. I'm just not sure what size I am these days.

Yes - good idea to stick with the same brand. $20.00 was a great price for LC.

I would not wish to overload the Thread with '60s Bee Gees songs but:

Movie film of Barry and Robin in their Australian childhood, in the video accompanying "First Of May"

and the song "Massachusetts" which I found indescribably lovely when it came out in 1967:

I better stop...

I still don't have a you tube button, but this is my favorite Robin sings. I just love the way he cups his ear.

Caramel, I love the first of May , thankyou for putting it on

I didn’t see news yesterday but oh how senseless and tragic the shootings in El Paso. My heart goes out to all involved.

Thank you all for the well wishes, I’ve actually surfaced this morning after a day shared between bed and bathroom. Feeling very delicate but I think I’m over the worst. I think living in a bubble is looking favourable nowadays.

Suki, sizes are difficult over here too, different makes of clothing can say they’re the same size but significant differences.

Love to all xxxx

Thank you, Suki - that song is beautiful, haven't heard it for many years.
Robin's voice was indeed, as one of the commenters observes, "the voice of an angel".
*sighs happily*

I may join you in that bubble, Mags.

Please take it easy, I'm sure you must feel weak.

Don't forget to hydrate.

Opi, yes please do, it’s a big bubble, clean air, no pollution.
I’ve drank plenty of water and last night had some peppermint cordial in warm water to settle my stomach, it certainly helped.

Suki, beautiful song. there was a song which Andy Gibb sang many years ago that I liked. I just wanna be your everything. Lovely.

Good morning Whiners, I hope you all slept well or are having a good day, whichever one applies. I had a tossing and turning kind of a night, I was just so hot. Sorry I didn't respond to all the posts last night, there were just so many, I did read them all but it was very late and I needed my bed.
Before I forget I'm going away tomorrow morning and won't be back until Friday. I'm going away with my daughter's MIL, she's my bestie and the 3 g.children, 2 shared and my son's who she treats the same as the other 2 anyway. We're going to Wales ( Barmouth) in a caravan, we go every year, the caravan belongs to her mother and is only about 5 yrs old plus it's within walking distance of the beach. I just hope the weather is kind to us though it isn' forecast to be. The internet/phone reception there is very poor, unless you go for a walk up to the top of a steep hill, so I'll just post if and when I can, if not I'll be back next weekend.

Suki, I hate shopping too, both food and clothes but food in particular. I hope your pants fit you and I hope all goes well with your appointment on Tuesday.
Love your dress, it's very pretty and feminine.

Ann, I carry hand sanitizer in my hand bag, it's a handy thing to have especially when I take the G.kiddo's out, I dread to think what they might have been touching I hope Bubba enjoyed his birthday and here's wishing him many more ( and you too.). Binoculars were a great idea, did he love them?

Least, I don't like going into town and I don't like shopping so I find online shopping much easier too apart from when I have to send something back, then it's a bit of a pain.
I wouldn't like to have to stay in your hospital if it's that cold, I'm not very good with cold, I would suffer.

I'm glad your feeling a little better each day Opi, you've had so much going on over the last few weeks, take good care of yourself.

It's good to have you back Hevyn and I hope your blood pressure problems are settling down.

Caramel I really love both those songs, thanks for sharing them, I haven't heard either of them for quite a while, they both brought back happy memories.

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better this morning Mags, but take it easy, those bugs drain you and it can take a few days to get back to normal. I hope Mr M doesn't catch it.
I agree, the clothes sizes over here are very differing, I think it depends on where they were made.

Well anyway, I best go and have a look round the other threads before I get my shower. Hopefully I'll get chance to post tonight, if not I'll be back next week.
Wishing you all a lovely Sunday with lots of love from me. xx

Heavy-hearted to be hearing about Dayton Ohio shootings after El Paso.

Oh no, not Dayton too. This is madness at its worst. More prayers out for the victims and all who love them.

Daisy, have a wonderful vacation. August is the best month of all for holidays, cool nights and sunny days. My mother's family is from Wales, Carmarthenshire area I think.

Mags, I am glad you are feeling better. That sounds like an awful bout of sickness.

Venus, I hope your pain has subsided too.

Suki, I love the dress, the colour is so pretty and it looks so comfy and just what we all need.

Caramel, I love all those songs.

Least, I agree, summer is flying by.

It is a lovely morning here, I am off to church then another restful day. I see my doctor on Tuesday just as a follow-up but I don't think I will be on any new medications until my heart has been stable for a few weeks. I am blessed that this is okay, there is no urgency to get back on medication, the lesions are small and not threatening right now.

Sunday hugs to everyone.

It's mine as well. I do a brilliant Robin impersonation, hand cupped and voice pretty spot on....I amused my family with it and all of my friends when I was a teenager.

I was thinking, you could still post your vid without the button....if you drop in the part after the equals and put the YT tags around it. s

Love and well wishes to everyone....Nick is gardening without me, he is lovely and I still can't do it.

Onward.....to less pain for all of the Whiny people.

And Opi love, pleurisy is literally fluid on your lungs, and is separate from pneumonia. It is often associated for sure, but not necessarily. I have had it twice....once when I was 11, and once in recovery when I was doing that walking job in very cold weather. But don't mind me, I am sure you do not have it and I am sending more healing love.

I imagine you are as bored as I am.....it is hard not being able to do things.

I need to see the pants suki love....going to look them up. s

Hope your tummy is better dear Mags. s
