I don't remember that one either.

I looked up a bio of Leroy Anderson. Man, he was sharp as a tack. Spoke many languages and was a piano/music prodigy at an early age.

Pondy, I do have strep throat. The x-ray showed I have some water on my lungs. The bloodwork shows I'm anemic and confirms an infection. I really am feeling a bit better so the medications seem to be working. Thank you for asking.

I'm glad Mr.P fired the contractor. Hopefully, you can find someone reliable to finish the job.

Ann, please tell Bubba ...

Love to everyone.
It sounds like you may have pleurisy love. Did they not think so? s
It sounds pretty bad Opi honey.....please try and just take care of yourself this weekend. I wish we were there to make tea and soup and wash the bed covers. Just so much love. ♥♥

Caramel, I love the Bee Gees and everything they sang. I didn't realize they began so young, they had powerful voices and lyrics even then. Thanks for the clips.

Least, love the cartoon too, so fun.

Opi, that is a lovely cake and Bubba is flattered. He knows very little about Whiners, just knows that I have nice friends here and that we share our lives every day, but he knows you all are important and is pleased to be "one of us".

Suki, I am so happy that you will be checked, and I hope everyone is feeling some better today.

I bought him some powerful binoculars of a size that will fit in his manbag or around his neck without being heavy or cumbersome. He has a good eye and loves nature hunting with me, so he will use them well. They will also be great for whale watching in Sept, I am going to book later this week after I see my doctor on Tuesday. Wooo Hooo.

It's a lovely day, me and Mr. Sunshine are going exploring a new swamp and then probably have a nice birthday lunch out on the water somewhere.

Apologies....not in a good mood. Completely fed up with my arm and not being able to sleep properly. I know, small problems. But grumble grumble and I forgot to say:

Suze love sending big careful hugs ’s

I’m just back in the land of the living, nearly.
I contracted sickness and diarrhoea after I left the Whiners this morning.
Been to the bathroom around 50 times and now I have nothing left in me. I think I may have caught it when we went for hubby’s MRI scan yesterday. I was holding the hand rails to steady my walk. Though I washed my hands, always do.
Next time I’ll take the walking stick. Had a bit of a sleep, my stomach is painful with all the retching.
I’ve had a bit of kip and now I’m going to sleep as long as I can.

Love to all xxxx

Good evening Whiners, I hope you're all good and whiney. I'm running a bit late today.

I hope Bubba's had a lovely birthday Ann.
I love the little frogs, so cute.

Suki, I'm delighted you got an appointment for next Tuesday, that's good news.

Pondy, Mr P was right to fire those contractors, the customer service is shocking. I hope you've managed to find someone who actually wants to do the job properly.

Opi, I hope you're feeling much better now.

How's your poor toe Least. I hope its much better. I remember the Bee Gees too from when they started out, I liked them very much.

Caramel, I always loved that song. Thank you.

Mags, get well soon, try and drink some fluids, don't want you getting dehydrated, take care. xx

Back later, love to you all. xxx

Mags - I'm a railing gripper too - and I'm bad about washing hands after using doorknobs, etc. I must do better. Very sorry you've been ill.

Caramel - Those 2 songs were new to me, too. I was only familiar with the 'Sat. Night Fever' BeeGees. Loved them so much.

Ann - Happiest of Birthdays to our friend Bubba. I'm so glad you've had each other through the years. What a blessing.
Binoculars - a great idea!

Praying for El Paso. Heartbreaking. Again.

It's hard shopping for clothes when you don't know what size you wear. Everything I have just hangs on me so I desperately need a pair of pants that don't slide down my backside when I walk.

JC Penney is having a great sale. I've always worn Liz Claiborne pants and they had some for 20.00. I wasn't sure what size to buy, so I got a size 12 and a size 10. Before all the weight loss, I was wearing size 14 and some 16. I also had to buy new underwear and a bra.

One Hanes Place is also having a great sale if anyone needs new under garments.

Suki, did both sizes fit you? Or will you take one of them back? I have a hard time shopping for clothes so I rarely do it.

Hospitals must be one of the worst places for picking up germs Mags, I bet that's where your bug came from.

Shocking news about El Paso, it's all so unnecessary.

Are you getting back into the routine of posting Hevyn?

Suki, I hope you find some suitable pants soon.

See you all tomorrow. Night night, xxx

I am not able to go to the store, so I have to order online, which I always did anyway. I hate going shopping, whether for clothes or food. I could spend all day in a hardware store, though.

Mags, drink fluids! Hope you feel better soon. Handrails and grocery cart handles are the worst....and subway escalator handles. I carry sanitizer in my purse. Yuck.

Suki, hope the new pants fit nicely.

Venus, hope your pain subsides soon.

Least, hope your toe is healing.

Opi, how are you doing?

Hugs to all who are ailing.

Pizza was great, coffee is brewing. Some people bemoan the added years, Bubba and I are grateful for each one
