True - we were thinking maybe 70F, not 90.

Billie ate all her supper then we went for a walk and she did a LW. She saw another dog on our walk and went nuts. She has no manners when it comes to seeing another dog. Jack was always aloof and didn't show any interest but Billie goes crazy. I have to hold on tight to the leash so she won't pull it out of my hand.

Good morning friendly Whiners

I keep having a dream, it’s the same dream where I am pregnant but a different scenario. I’ve had this three times this week, last night’s was that I was pregnant at 60 yrs young and there was an egg shaped lump on the top of my stomach. Really strange.

Did I tell you the dream I had about my dad a few night’s ago? In real life my dad has died I think 10 years ago. In my dream my dad hadn’t died but was in prison. His death was staged so I wouldn’t know he was in prison. I woke up thinking my dad wasn’t dead for a moment.

I hope everyone manages to stay cool in the heat. I’m using my fans constantly.

Love you all xx

If I dreamt I was pregnant at my age, it would be a nightmare, not a dream.

I often have strange dreams, one of the last-listed side effects for Zoloft is "bizarre or unusual thoughts or dreams". My sister calls it the Zoloft Cinema.

Good morning Whiners, hope you're all well today. I've not much to whine about yet, the sun is shining, the birds are singing and I'm feeling at peace with myself. No doubt it's the calm before the storm but for now I'm making the most of it.
My 10 yr old g.daughter has asked me to help out on her school trip as they are short of parent volunteers, so of course I agreed. I was expecting her to say they were going to a zoo or a museum or similar. But they are going to a Mosque, her class is learning about different religious cultures, I'm looking forward to it, it's something different to other school trips I've helped with.

What strange dreams Mags, just imagine being pregnant at 60, on second thoughts don't, how awful would that be? Doesn't bare thinking about.

Ha ha Least, ' the Zoloft cinema' that actually made me laugh out loud.
Billie must be a very sociable dog.

Have a good day, see you later. xx

HA!
Apparently my fried bod has decided to get very sore, very exhausted, very quickly when the weather changes very quickly. As I shared elsewhere I am investigating creative ways to express my misery tonight. A thought was apple pie with cream, but that always tastes better in my brain....

The pic is in the Adelaide parklands, a kilometer wide belt of gumtrees, gardens, ovals, playgrounds, horse paddocks and just trees that circle Adelaide (except on the West side where there is a cemetery as big as the whole CBD)- I have never seen the dry runoff creek beds have any water in them, except today.

PJ! Like the new avi!

I don't think I have abs, can people not have abs? My entire body may be devoid of all things muscular. Like walking Jello.

Least, Billie is being so good, I think he likes summer.

Suki, thanks for the Friday raccoons!!

Opi, hope your leg is healing. Venus, hope you are on the mend. Hope everyone who is ailing is on the mend today.

Chic, hope you are enjoying your weekend off.

I was so busy yesterday getting ready for my visitors today. I have sandwiches to make and beds to change but everything else is done. It rained last night so us muggy this morning but I think it will be a sunny warm day. There is a splash pool at the zoo, so the kids can stay cool. Tomorrow looks sunny and not too hot too. I tried out my air conditioner yesterday and it worked fine so I have backup cool for when we come home.

Once they come, I will be absent until tomorrow some time after they leave. I hide my computer, kids think it's a toy.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Ann, enjoy your visit with family.

The mowers were here before I woke up. The yard looks a lot better now.

Took Billie for a walk and she rewarded me with a LW. It's hot today but bro put in my window a/c upstairs so it's cooling off a bit.

Mags - No doubt those dreams shook you up a bit. I know what you mean when you feel disoriented when waking from one of them - it takes a minute to join the real world.

Daisy - I don't remember being taught about other religions in school. It would help us to understand each other better. Hope it's an interesting trip.

PJ - The ab enhancer looks like a real thing? Good grief.
Accordian pants - I wonder if they come in another color - gray does nothing for me.
I love your avie too!

Ann - Have a wonderful time with the fam.

PJ, sorry you're feeling sore.

I just took Billie for a walk and it started raining as we were going down the sidewalk. Big drops! You could hear it raining. Then as suddenly as it started, it stopped. So we continued walking and she rewarded me with a LW.

By the time we'd walked home, the raindrops had dried up off the sidewalk. Very odd rain indeed.

My strange friend is coming for a short visit next month. He'll arrive on the 22nd and leave the next day. We won't have much to talk about as we haven't socialized in years and years. I knew him from MIT, back in the day, when he was a student there and I was one of the many friends who stayed in the dorm and partied with them. Their idea of fun was to drop some acid and go do complicated math calculations. I wasn't into the math part...

I am not looking forward to his visit as he used to have an embarrassing crush on me and used to show overt gestures of affection. Not bad, just intrusive and weird. Like sitting at my feet with his arms on my lap, gazing up at me. His feelings were not reciprocated! I felt uncomfortable. I let him know where I stood and he stopped 'gazing' at me with lovelorn eyes.

Yeah, I should have gotten out of it... Well, it's only for a day and a night.

Rats, it's raining! At least Billie got an after supper walk in before it started raining.

PJ, those accordion pants are so weird... I'd have to be paid handsomely to wear them.

It’s a nice still Sunday pre-dawn here.

Hev,, yes the dreams were disorienting for the first few hours of wakening. Now I feel daft for whining about them! After all we all get them!

Least, I hope all goes well with your visitor, but if you’re not happy about it can you call it off. Follow your gut.

Daisy, how did your visit to the Mosque go? I hope it was enlightening.

Did I mention Mr.M yesterday? He got out of bed and couldn’t put any weight on one leg. I lent him my walking stick for the day which he proceeded to annoy me by prodding me with the stick! if it’s no better by Monday he’s going to doc. He had an op on the other knee a few years ago for a meniscus tear and thinks it’s the same problem.

PJ, those trouser thingys are terrible aren’t they. I just don’t get some of the catwalk ‘fashions’

Love to all xx
