I got home yesterday afternoon. Gosh did it feel good to sleep in my own bed with sweet GiGi snuggled beside me

least, You've been feeling off, for awhile now. I can't remember if you've scheduled an appt with a specialist? Benefiber is a product you can add to any liquid, as it has no taste what so ever, and promotes regularity. Maybe discuss taking it with your Dr. ?

Ann, I don't like to hear about your nausea Many of these drugs that help, are strong and cause nausea.......I hope it improves and look forward to the time you only need them every couple months.

MC, I'm happy to be home with my gardens. Of course, the weeds were awaiting my return !! Mr. P bought a bunch of plants at Lowes while I was away, so I'd have some waiting when I got home. We too are having rain.....so limited gardening today, but pulling weeds is easy

I simply adore frogs and toads ....I love to hear them singing through my bedroom window. Having a pond attracts wildlife....frogs, toads, some snakes, birds, butterflies, dragon flies, chipmunks, bunnies....the list goes on! I have a pair of bluebirds nesting in an arbor by my pond, I hear their little chips when their parents come to feed them.

PJ, I think your hands looks great, it's healed nicely. Does it feel stiff, or does the grafted skin become flexible ?

Well, it's been a lazy day for me...I honestly keep falling asleep.

Pondy - I'm so glad you're home & back with your dogs & MrP, of course. I hope your daughter continues to do great - it was wonderful you could be with her & see her through a challenging time.

Ann - One day you'll drive over to swamp country & find all the dying flowers have flourished - everyone will wonder where the heck they came from.

It started to pour & is so windy - it seems like October, not June.

Pondy, I am glad you are safely home. Gigi will be thrilled.

PJ, I don't think I said how great your hand looks. Well done on persevering.

Today wasn't too bad, hope it continues that way.

Good night dear whiny ones.

Hi Matt! Welcome back! You must be very busy. Do take some time out of your busy day to whine with us please.

Pondy, glad you're back home with little GiGi and Mr P. Boy I'll bet her little tail wagged right off her butt. When I come get Billie after she's been boarded, she wiggles so much it's hard to get her harness on.

It's been raining off and on all evening. Sick sick sick of rain!! Yeah, at least it's not snow, but we're getting too much precip and could stand some sunny days to dry everything up. The ground is just soggy.

Billie ate all her supper and then did a LW. Good girl Billie. I've been missing Jack so much today and she's been in my lap a lot. She always lies down on my lap and pulls my hand over to lick me. I don't know if it's the salt on my palms or just affection on her part. Maybe both.

Hev, this is ridiculous! I've turned on my furnace for the past several nights to heat up the house. I hate to see my next bill. Summer is usually very low gas bills. I can't remember the last time I used the furnace in June.

Just want you all to know how much I love you. We're a loving whiny family and I'm so glad I joined it. That's back when it used to be in Daily Support forum.

Ann, sorry you're having nausea. I hope the new meds do the trick to relieve it.

Good morning Whiners and a happy Sunday to you all, I hope you are enjoying the weekend.
I had a very late night last night, we went to the wedding reception of our friends, who we've know for a long time and didn't get home until well after midnight, it's a long time since I've been out so late and no doubt it will catch up on me later.
I didn't drink, I had no desire to drink, I just had 2 glasses of sparkling water all night, but I felt like I was the only one there who was sober and that's fine too. It was quite an eye opener to watch the antics of everyone and the gobbledygook that people come out with when they've been drinking is unbelievable and at times though it was funny, I got bored listening to it. We were sat next to a couple that we haven't seen for about 12 years and I used to be close friends with the wife, we used to go out drinking together and she was a big drinker then and still is now, when we left she still had 2 pints of beer in front of her, she is very loud, smokes like a chimney, but she is also very kind. She asked me for my mobile number during the night which I gave her, but then she invited herself to my house Monday afternoons, kept saying her husband will drop her off and we can catch up. Whilst I do like her I don't want to get in with that circle of friends again and I don't want her at my house every Monday, even though she would only be offered tea or coffee. I'm not sure what to say to her, I don't want to hurt her feelings but she just isn't my kind of person any more. I'll have to think on this.
Anyway that's enough of my ramblings ....

Ann, I had a lovely white begonia right in the middle of a hanging basket, I just happened to touch it yesterday and it just keeled over, the stalk had rotted with all the rain, I'll have to replace it with something.

Least thanks for explaining about your sisters names, it's very clever, I like it.
I'm so glad that Oksis's husband was found and is being sent home, she must have been very worried. Lets hope he gets the help he needs.

Mags, I'm glad your husband got his hospital instructions, the sooner he has his appointment the better.

Same weather here too Hevyn, rain, rain and more rain, I'm so fed up with it. Cold too, can't believe I've had the heating on in June, it's ridiculous.

Glad you got home safely Pondlady, I bet Gigi was delighted to see you. Your garden sounds delightful but don't do too much in it today, get some relaxation in.

Hello Matt, pleased to meet you and I hope you come and do some whining with us.

Pondy- yes the skin, being real skin, does flex well. Any healing on my engineered hand takes about twice as ling to heal, and thus gets proned to infection. As to neuroplasticity- time will tell.

Daisy, just make yourself busy on Mondays and don't answer your messages. Time will take care of this, she may not even remember suggesting that.

PJ, you have come so far, I am glad you stuck with it, life slowly gets better every day.

Hiya Matt, glad you stopped by.

I am off to church this morning, the sun is finally shining and it should be a nice day.

Happy Sunday to everyone.

Ann, your sun may be shining but it's raining buckets here. Pouring down. We were lucky when I took Billie out this morning that at the moment it wasn't raining too much but now it's pouring.

Daisy, maybe your friend won't remember what she said and won't bother you on Mondays.

Woke up out of a strange dream that is just on the edge of my memory.

Good morning whiners!

Whine! last night @ 10pm, son woke me saying there was a tornado warning! he got the cats into the bathroom, while I ran about wondering what to be caught wearing if we should be rescued from rubble... only we have a one story apt with not much above us. lol grabbed cat food, water, and our cell phones, and turned on local news. Tornado spotted close to road my youngest daughter lives on. in the air, and it passed quickly. she messaged me that all was well. I truly hate hate hate tornado season. glad my girls have basements, but guess son and I will fly through the air , each carrying a cat, lol. I do live in a dip in the surrounding area, so I don't get too scared, actually. Perhaps more of the same tonight, though. rain is making the plants too wet. Have moved some of the potted ones to drier places.

Hi Mattq! Nice to see you , and hope you can come back and whine a spell with us.

least, so glad oksis' hubby is on his way home. how stressful for her, and sounds like he is miserable, as well. prayers that all works out .

Pondy, nice to be home to your GiGi, Mr.P and your Biblebaths! rest up, you have had a lot on your plate lately, and your daughter is so blessed to have you.

Hevyn, seems like we all are having crap weather! Is it everywhere in the world!!!??? Hope you are finding something to do... bird watch?

hugs to all...

Hi Whiners

It’s lovely and sunny here this Sunday afternoon. After all the rain we’ve had it’s nice to see some sunshine.

Daisy, I’m pleased you had a good time at the wedding. It’s always awkward when someone invites themselves to your home. I think Anne’s suggestion is good!
I hope you’ve got sunshine in your part of the U.K.

We went to in-laws earlier, we’d bought a jigsaw puzzle for his dad along with his favourite sweets. Fortunately he’s not done that jigsaw. His mum seemed quite good today.

Hi Matt

Have a lovely wonderful whiney day, lots of love xx

Perhaps something wash and wear, bright red in colour with bright accessories (so they won't mistake you for the rubble) and sensible heels?

Chic, only you could crack me up with your tornado story. I hate them too, it's all about powerlessness , there is nothing you can do to get out of the way. So at least dress well, just in case they have to dig you from the rubble.

Freakin' mosquitoes!!!! Evil, blood sucking berstards! I was in the garden for 5 minutes tops, just planting a hosta that my friend/neighbour gave me...and I got bit 8 times (that I can see) AND....I had BUG SPRAY ON!! All the rain and grass that grows quickly this time of year is to blame.

I am pushing my luck, I took my pills a half hour ago and plan to go out in an hour! Mind over matter will see me far.

Suki, poor gators gotta eat!!

Okay, so the gator was fake.

Our forecast is calling for many days of rain!!

Chic, we didn't get a tornado warning but we've got a flood warning.

Ann, I hope your nausea meds do the trick.

I'm not feeling too good today. About half sick to my stomach and have Jack's problem.

least honey....try this....boil the kettle, or if you don't have one, you can just use a saucepan or the coffeepot with water only.....let the hot water cool enough so it doesn't burn, and sip a whole cup if you can. It should help your tummy, also helps with constipation. Really, hot water every night after dinner keeps my tummy very happy and purrrrrrring along.

I hope you feel a bit better.
