After Billie ate her supper we went for a potty walk. I brought a large grocery bag with me as on the route we walk, I saw a large pile of big-dog poop in the yard of the Community Action agency building. So irresponsible to not clean up after their dog!! I get so mad at people who are so lazy they won't clean up their dog's poop! I always carry at least two bags with me, one for Billie and one in case I see more poop. My bags are smaller than the grocery bags so I had to bring a regular size one for the big-dog poop.

Good grief, I buy my doggie bags for 2 cents each at the store. It costs me less than a dollar for 40 bags. I always keep them in my pocket when I take Billie out. It's just common decency... well, maybe not so common...

While we were walking, a motorcycle went by with its sound system blasting. Of all the stupid accessories for a bike, a sound system is the dumbest. Because of the road noise, you have to turn the sound way up to hear it, and that means the rest of the world can hear it too!! So thoughtless.

Heard from Oksis. She doesn't know where hubby is, he hasn't been seen since last weekend. She's going to file a missing persons report. She is worried sick and not doing well. It's just her and her teenage daughter. She needs prayers again.

Daisy, we're getting more rain than we need too, in the near future. Some farmers' fields are flooded. I don't know how they are going to plant their crops.

Prayers out for Oksis, Least, that her husband is found and is okay.

Least - I just said a prayer for Oksis. Not knowing is horrible.

Ann - Prayers going up for you, too - that the nausea will end & you can relax again.

Daisy - Have a good sleep & a happy wake-up.
I'm so thankful we don't sabotage ourselves any more.
Maybe I am Vit. D deprived - I feel entirely different as soon as the sun pokes through the clouds.

Suze - I'm glad you feel at home & are enjoying your new life. It was a huge leap of faith, for sure.

Hev, I noticed my mood was worse when I ran out of my vitamins. I didn't take them for a couple weeks and noticed a difference. Vit D is one of the vitamins and I never thought about the lack of it affecting my mood. I've been taking them again for several days now and my mood seems to be lifting. I know it makes a difference in winter when I hardly get outside.

Hev, Mr.Mags back still problematic. He takes a pill whenever it gets too bad.

Ann, beautiful pictures of the heron.

Woke up early, my nose streaming with rhinitis and I have an headache so it doesn’t look like I’ll go back to bed now!

Once I stepped on a dead mouse that Tula had brought in.
Yuck.
I have been planting like crazy. The shade garden in front of the house is beginning to be overtaken by strange invasive and grasses, so I am digging out what I can and replacing with shade lovers, like bleeding heart, astilbe, coral bells and hostas.
I got a rhododendron for 10 bucks, so plopped that in where a small evergreen had failed.
And mulching, and weeding.
It’s gonna look great!

Good morning Whiners, I hope you're all whiney today. It's atually not raining at this minute, but it's quite windy out there, cold, very grey and it looks like the heavens are about to open at any minute.

I slept well thanks Ann and hope you did too. Don't worry too much about your lack of appetite, just eat what you can, when you can.

Least I can't believe that you remove other people's dog droppings, there can't be many out there who would do that, you are such a good person and it's a shame there aren't more like you.
A motor cycle with a sound system, how ridiculous, what is the point of that?
I'm sorry for asking, but is Oksis your sister? I will remember her and her daughter in my prayers anyway, not knowing is just awful.
I feel sorry for the farmers with all this rain, there crops will be ruined.

Thank you Hevyn, I had quite a good sleep considering my g.son went to stay with his daddy until Sunday, I always worry about him when he's there and he's always really cheeky and gives a lot of back chat when he comes back!
I always feel better too when the sun is out, maybe that's why I've been a bit down in the dumps after returning home from the sunshine in Mallorca.
I'm glad we don't sabotage ourselves any more too, why on earth did we do that?

I think I'll get myself some Vitamin D tablets and try them after reading your post Least.

I hope you feel better soon Mags and I hope your headache disappears quickly. I hope Mr Mags has a good day too.

Yuck indeed Maud, I think standing on a dead mouse would give me nightmares. You've been super busy in your garden by the sound of it, it all sounds very lovely.

Back later, Lulu cat is asking for her breakfast. x

I hope today is a nausea free day, Ann. your heron is lovely, and was showing off for the camera, I think

Mags-hope today is a better day

pj, your hand looks great! no wonder the drs. are so proud of their work. I hope the pt goes well.

i had no idea that raisins were not good for you. thought they were full of vitamins. c. guess the sugar cancels out any good stuff.

i like toads and frogs. let's make the poor slugs carry the raisins.

Opi, that does sound like an awful dream, tho. <3

Chic, I love your kitty avatar, so precious.

Least, it has been rainier than usual, Vit D will surely help.

It is raining here today so errands are in the agenda, also something to replace my sad yellow begonia...dang it, I just cannot grow begonia's for the life of me. I thought if I balanced the sun and shade it would thrive, but it's faded and worn.

Happy Saturday everyone.

Daisy, yes she's my sister. From OKlahoma, hence Oksis.

Just woke up out of a dream that I was looking for my keys and finally found that I'd been holding them in my hand the whole time.

Ann, I hope the nausea is better today.

Maudcat, your garden sounds divine!

Hi Whiners

I can’t whine about my headache, it’s gone, thank goodness.

Least, that’s a really cool name for your sister! , what a great positive dream, ,you found the keys, they were never lost in the first place.

Daisy, rain stopped here and we got sunshine! Yaaay, though it’s gone overcast now!

Mr.Mags got his instructions through the post for his hospital appointment. Looks like it’s a day care ward. He’ll be having a cannula in his hand then blood tests every half hour for 4 hours. They’ll put something in his blood too and see if his pituitary gland is working right. They tell this from the blood tests.
He also has another test which lasts an hour, so he’s going to be there for about 5/6 hours. They advise not to drive so I’m going with him and if I can’t stay I’ll come back later.

Father’s Day tomorrow in U.K. so we’re going to fil and mil’s in the morning.(Sunday).

Love to everyone, have a good whiney day. xx

Good wishes for Mr M on his test day.

I don't know whether to take a nap or not. I'm bored and don't feel too wonderful. A nap might be just the thing to pass the time.

Mags, in addition to Oksis, I have Nycsis.

It's supposed to rain tonight.

I didn't take a nap. Walked Billie instead.

Oksis found her hubby. He was very sick with a kidney stone and a high fever. He's flying home Monday.

Least - I've been wondering about him - very glad to know he's on his way home.

Ann - You're on my mind, & I'm continuing to send up prayers for 'no more nausea'.

Maudcat - It's going to be beautiful, for sure.

Mags - I'm glad they're being thorough, & will surely figure out how to get him better.

Was sunny and windy, now cloudy & ready to rain yet again. Flowers will rot if this keeps up.

Same weather here, Hev.

Finished mowing just in time.

The giant frog was back! He's lucky he still has legs.

Almost clipped him with the whacker!

Someone, anyone, take that whacker away from Opi!!!

Least, I am glad Oksis found her hubby, I hope he gets treated and will be fine.

Hev, I think my begonias rotted, there hasn't been enough sun to damage any of my plants and I haven't watered because the rain has been so abundant. So....my latest yellow begonia has been taken to swamp country where Bubba takes all the failing flowers, with hopes that it may flourish there or die happily in nature. I replaced it with a big mixed pot of assorted flowers and plants and features rose and pink coloured dahlias!! I LOVE dahlias and we'll see how they do. If we ever get a sunny day again, I will take a picture. You all can help me with what flowers those are but the nursery told me that they all love lots of sunshine.

It has been overcast all day and again, it looks like rain. Sheesh, this is not what I signed up for when I wished for summer. Tomorrow is church, I really really like the one we chose. The sign out front recently made me smile...."Walmart Isn't The Only Place of Saving".
