Funny, Suki.

How are you feeling?

Did you have your follow-up with the other doctor?

Some days are better than others...yesterday was pretty good. Today, not so much. My appt. with the Neurologist is next Wednesday.

Suki, I hope your appt with the neurologist gives you some relief. It's hard being in pain so much.

Nothing much to whine about at the moment - but there are dark clouds overhead & thunder in the distance. Not again.

Hi Whiners, I didn't get time to check in this morning and then I met my friend for lunch and a rummage round the charity shops in the village, I didn't find any bargains but my friend bought some lovely glasses.
It hasn't rained today believe it or not, it's been quite warm and sunny-ish.

Least I hope you've felt much better today. It was kind of your brother to pick up your prescriptions for you, he's a good man.
One of these days Lily will scratch Billie and then she'll be sorry.
Ooooh, I don't like the thought of someone watching you through the windows, that's spooky, I keep my doors locked even when I'm home too, you just can't be too careful these days.

I hope all goes well for you tomorrow Ann and I hope you get fixed up with the stronger anti nausea meds. I'll be thinking about you. xx

Venus and Chicory I hope you both slept well, it's nearly midnight here and I'm going to bed as soon as I've finished posting here.

I'm glad Mr Mags isn't worrying Mags, though I'd be the same as you, reading up on it and over thinking. Fingers crossed, all will be well.
Did you car pass it's MOT? I need to phone tomorrow and make an appointment to have mine done, it's due on the 30th. Are you going to treat yourself when you've sold yours?

Oh my goodness Opi, that's a lot of money, cars are such an expense. I wish I could manage without mine, I hate driving and everything that goes with it.

That's just too funny Suki, thanks for the laugh. I'm sorry you've been in so much pain and I hope the neurologist can help you.

Oh no Hevyn, not dark clouds and thunder, it doesn't bode well.

I'm off to bed now, goodnight all, sleep well. xx

Dark clouds are gathering here and it's calling for rain tomorrow. NO NO NO!! No more!

Well, I took that prescription laxative the doctor gave me... and will not take it again. It gave me horrible diarrhea and that's one of the side effects for which you stop taking it. I'd give anything to be 40 again when life was a little smoother.

Hi PJ. How's the hand doing?

Daisy, I hate driving too and wish our public transit here was better. If it was, I'd sell my car and just take the transit. sigh...

Suki, your cartoon is very timely for me, lol. Seems to be a lot of that going around. Hope you get full relief from your pain soon.

Least, one extreme or the other, it's not fair.

Opi, you do lovely flowers, thank you.

My follow-up visit was dreadful today. I have to fast from the night before and by the time they did enough tests that I could eat, it was 16 hours with no food and I didn't feel well...plus I had just taken those gawd awful pills. It will get better over time, and I am checking out other options too. I don't want to give up something that may just be the ticket for several years so I need to persevere just a while more. I get a new CT scan late July and that will show progress so far. We got home about dinner time and now Bubba isn't feeling well too. I knew he was exhausted today and needed to sleep, hopefully good rest and good food will help. I got my appointments mixed up and do have to go again next week, but then will have 2 weeks between for a couple of visits then 8 weeks.

I hate that I go on and on about this, one day soon I will be normal again and have something more fun to talk about.

I am exhausted tonight, so will be back good as new in the morning.

Love you all.

Ann, I'm so sorry you had the day from hell. I don't like those fasting appts either. Hopefully you'll feel better tomorrow.

Billie ate all her supper and afterward we went for a walk and she did a LW.

Now I can't stop hearing that Linda Ronstadt song!!

Those dogs in the constipation meme look like Shibas.

Ann - We're here to hold each other up & share the miserable times as well as the fun ones. If you couldn't talk it over here, it would mean you'd have to pretend everything was ok. We're your friends & want to be part of whatever you're going through. I'm sorry it was a horrible day. Will pray even harder for a resolution to come soon.

Least - I'm sorry it was too much of a good thing. I thought that stuff would be more gentle. Hope you feel better, though.

Ann, sorry it was a bad day, and say whatever you want, you support us through thick and thin, and we’re here to support you and each other. Hope you and Bubba manage a restful evening and night.

Daisy, yes, the car passed it’s mot...eventually. then I had to go back to the garage as the radio had stopped working! I don’t know what they’d done and he lied to me when I asked what the fault was.
Now I want to get a valet done on it. (I think it sells better looking showroom clean, it’s an honest good car, I’ll miss it really but it’s a waste just having it on the drive doing hardly anything). Mr.Mags says he’ll do it but I said the valeters do a deep clean, we haven’t the equipment to do the carpets so well. He then argued about me spending money and I started the steroids yesterday as the asthma is playing up, and I’m quite volatile on them.
I understand he doesn’t want to spend money. We’ve nothing coming in, just living on our redundancy, which he worked out would be fine for two years, and is fine, then he would draw on his private pension. So all is fine. We have some savings for a rainy day.
I guess he’s programmed to be the breadwinner in the house and this is a first for him, I’m sure we’ll both adapt to retirement eventually.

Sending love to everyone and big hugs

G.morning Whiners, I'm just having a quick peruse on S.R whilst the rest of the household sleeps on, it's very cool, grey and cloudy out there, which means only one thing, more of that dratted wet stuff!

Try and look on the bright side Least, you've had a good clear out if nothing else, lol.
I only use my car to get me from A to B but there's just no enjoyment in driving these days, too much traffic and too many impatient lunatics on the road, if it wasn't for doing the school runs with the g.kiddo's and running my mum back and too here, there and everywhere, I'd seriously think about getting rid of my car.

Ann, I'm so sorry that you're going through such a rough time of it at the moment and I pray that it all gets easier for you and I'm sure it will, please don't think for one moment that we don't want to hear about what's going on with you, because we really do. You are always here for us and we are here for you. Isn't that what this Whiner's group is all about, getting it off your chest? Just say it as it is. xxx

I hope your day is a good one Hevyn, keep holding out for some sunshine.

Morning Pondlady, I hope all is good in your neck of the woods.

I'm glad your car passed Mags and I'd have a professional valet done too if I was selling my car. They aren't that expensive and they do get to the places we cant, I'm sure Mr Mags will come round to the idea.

Hi Opi, I hope all is good with you today.

See you all later, I hear movement coming from upstairs. xx
