If y'all really want to kill mosquitos come on down here, you'd have no problem finding some.

Least, I hope the doc resolves your discomfort and pain. ’s

Ann, all the best at your appt today. My mum, who is passed over now, had medication for her faulty heart. (A legacy from Rheumatic Fever as a kid)The meds made her so nauseous, she then was given another medication which stopped the nausea. I hope the docs can do this for you.

Daisy, pleased the rain stopped a while for you. We had a bit of sunshine up here, too.

Nef, I can imagine that’s just what the mozzies are thinking....Dinner!

Since the doc gave me these calcium /vitamin D tablets my fingernails grow so quickly. Can’t be a coincidence, I don’t think.

Hev, brolly is a slang term, I’m sure you’ve guessed. My dad had a broad Yorkshire accent and when he got chatting he sounded like he was talking another language, if you didn’t know it.

It’s Mr.Mags appointment today at hospital. I’m going with him then leaving when I know where he will be to collect him. I might be staying a while with him, sometimes they send you away, depending what room they have in the day ward.

Love to everyone. xx

Saw an 'exercise physiologist' today. He looked too young for his beard. BUT-I have a program organized and am starting to lose weight- after seeing a dietician. I am not stupid, but this time around have accessed support mechanisms, which- like SP for my drinking is a good thing to do. Part of the concern for mer- is next year. The art school have integrated 2 subjects so instead of having 2 x 4 hour classes- it is one big 8 hour marathon. I usually get very tired around the 5th hour. So in preparation, I am going to get as fit and resilient as I can.

am with you all the way Ann

Good morning fellow Whiners, I'm just back from the school and mum run, nothing much to report about that other than the usual impatient idiots on the roads. It's actually not raining at the minute and the sun is out, though it is quite nippy and heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast for this afternoon. Big sigh.

Least, can you not phone the doctor today for a new appointment rather than wait until tomorrow? Sorry for nagging, I just don't like you not being well.
I always call my umbrella a brolly but like you I've never heard of counter tops being called a bench, I call them work tops.
I've never known a dog that loves green beans, that made me smile, I love them too. I hope your brother got home safely.

Hevyn, I remember Linda Ronstadt vaguely, she was a good looking girl back in the day, it's so sad she has Parkinson's. Life can be cruel.
We all seem to be having the same weather at the moment, mostly rain.

Hi Opi, I love looking at old photo's but once I start nothing else gets done.

You're in my thoughts today Ann, have a safe journey and take care. xx

Good grief Neferkamichael, I jumped 6ft when I went onto the next page and saw that monster.

G. morning Mags, I hope you have the sunshine today too.
My mum takes calcium tablets and her nails started growing rapidly when she started taking them, they became stronger too. I has to be the tablets.
I hope all goes well for Mr Mags today, you'll both be in my thoughts as well as Ann. Let us know how it goes and make sure you look after yourself too, it's important.

That sounds good P.J, you're doing really well and excellent thinking on having a plan in place in order to get fit for next year.

Back later, have the best Tuesday you can Whiners. xx

Hi my friendly whiners

Thanks for your support and kind words. Love to all of you.

I’ve left Mr.Mags in the day ward. They put a cannula in his hand and then they were waiting for the prescription to arrive and their chemist didn’t open until 9am! Best laid plans and all that. He just text me around half hour ago to say they’ve started the injections and every half hour for next four hours they’ll take blood. I’ll go back up in a while.

I went to Asda for a few groceries then came home, having a coffee and reading SR.

Thanks for letting us know Mags, I'm glad you're having a coffee and reading, you need to try and rest a little as no doubt you'll be exhausted later, try not to worry too much, he's in the best place. Make sure you look after you too. xx

Ann, Holding you in my thoughts and prayers today. Is this a needle biopsy and does it show if the new meds are targeting the lesions? Strong prayers the meds are working and the spacing between dosages gets longer and longer.

Mags, Glad Mr. Mags is home....even if he's grumpy

least, Hoping you're able to move you Dr. appt to a sooner date and get some relief.

Hev and Opi, I agree with Queenie, no dark thoughts allowed. You two ladies are some of the kindest and giving women I know and I mean it !!

GiGi is at the beauty shop and I have a dental cleaning this afternoon. Tomorrow morning my step daughter flies in for a visit. She moved to FL a few years ago and we sure do miss her, she's so much fun and easy to be around.

Just got a message from my doctor's office. They want me to get an X ray of my abdomen before my appt. So will have to leave a little early to do that.

Thank you so much, Pondy. Gigi is going to look quite spiffy.

Suze, the flowers are beautiful!

Least, glad you're getting to the doctor today. Let us know how you make out.

Thinking of you, Ann.

Good grief, a warning light went off in my car. I called the dealer .. the next appointment is July 11th. I asked, is the car is safe to drive? He says... well, it's tricky, if the system fails the car will slow to 20mph.... but you can still drive it.

I may go after his ankles ... what if I'm driving on the Thruway to get to your dealer at 55mph and the car suddenly slows???? Rather than risk life and limb, I'll have to find a mechanic near me. The dealer is 40 miles away. IDK

Least, I am so glad you are getting an xray, so they can check things out fully! We were all about ready to get in the whiner bus and come nurse you with all of our best ideas. Let us know when you find out, ok

Ann, thinking of you and hoping you are nearly done today and home resting. You don't complain, or talk too much about these things! Inquiring whiners wanna know, lol.

Mags we love you too. Hope mr. mags is doing well today and that they get to the bottom of things soon.

Hevyn, sending you a big hug. You are such a dear person.. I wish you to never feel sadness again. Do you need us to come and shin anyone? I hope you don't get too lonely up there in the bearly woods.

Ann, yesterday my son reminded me that the only food I brought for him and myself was a box of cheeze-its, for our tornado snacks.

love you all....
