Suze, I will try that.

Just got a call from mk, asking if she could borrow my car til Thursday! I said no, as I don't want to be without it that long. And I think my doctor appt is this week.

The rain stopped long enough to take Billie for a little walk. She sent a peemail and sniffed all the peemails that were left for her.

I can't decide if I want to take a nap or not.

Daisy - I was so nervous the first few times I went to a wedding or celebration. I felt strengthened & encouraged every time I didn't cave. Now, I wouldn't be tempted in the least - and no longer feel that I'm missing something.
Good job! Sorry about the annoying friend thing - as Ann said, maybe she won't even remember.

Chic - Talk about a rude awakening....
I always wonder what I'd grab in an emergency like that. I probably wouldn't keep my head.

Ann - Has the nausea stayed under control today? Love it that you've kept going through all this.

Least - Is tummy any better?

Skeeters & little biting flies have been hanging around. There was one on the tv last night & MrH couldn't catch it. So all night I kept thinking it was going to come up the stairs & find me and bite me while I slept.

Thank you Ann, that's what I've been thinking to do, keep myself busy on Mondays, I am busy every day anyway. I've already had a text today and I did reply saying that I'd already made arrangements for tomorrow, which is the truth. I hope you enjoyed the service at church and I hope the sun shone for you.

My friend did remember Least and I know from old that she's very persistent. I think she's at a loose end on Mondays as she told me that she's cut her working hours to 3 days per week and as her husband is retired he does all the housework and gardening. I don't have a lot of spare time anyway with raising my g.son and running my mum about. I'm going to have to stick to my guns with this though.

Chicory you made your tornado tale sound like a comedy caper though I'm sure it wasn't funny at the time. Stay safe. x

Mags we had sunshine for a couple of hours today, then back to the rain. I washed the towels and managed to get them pegged out for a while, they were almost dry when I brought them in.
I'm glad your mil wasn't too bad today.x

I hope you're feeling better now Least and like Venuscat advises, I find hot water to be a comfort for a dodge tummy. Look after yourself. You were right to say no to lending MK the car, it's a long time till Thursday and you might need it yourself if you're poorly.

Mosquito's just love me as do all stinging, biting insects. I'm obviously very succulent.

Thank you Hevyn, I wasn't tempted at all, not in the slightest, thank goodness and long may it stay that way. I hope you get a better sleep tonight.

Much love to you all. xxx

No nap. The rain stopped so I took Billie for several walks.

Mk just called and asked if she could leave her van in my driveway for a couple days. I said sure so she brought it up. She has to go back to the shop to get her hubby's car that she drove here so she offered to take Billie for a walk. Billie loves mk! I said her name and Billie got excited and started jumping around. She always freaks out when mk is here. Just goes wild.

So she's going to drive her back in her car and I'll get my girl back. I made sure to give her a poopy bag in case Billie does a LW on the walk down to the shop.

She brought her back, didn't need the bag. She did take some great pictures of her.

Hev, feeling a bit better this evening. Felt good enough to eat so that's good enough.

Pondy, I'll bet GiGi is in heaven since you came home.

Least, I think MK is most like you...a real sweetheart.

As soon as we headed out, the clouds rolled in and that was it for my sunny day.

I managed through the nausea today but will ask for something stronger on Wed. when I go for follow up. No wonder they wanted to make sure I was healthy enough to endure. This stuff would bring a buffalo to its knees.

Off to watch season 6 opener of Endeavour. I love that show and PBS Detroit.

Nighters whiny people.

Ann - I was so hoping the nausea would be gone by now. I hope you get a solution on Wednesday.

Since I'm the closest, I'll head out now to go pry the whacker from Opi's fingers.

Ann, I'm sorry the nausea is getting you down. I hope they can give you something stronger for relief.

Opi, please put down the whacker and come out slowly...

I've had this old song in my head all day. I really like it so it's not unpleasant to hear it. Takes me back to good times.

Oh Wow, Whiners, you’ve exceeded yourselves!

Ann, do you remember Dee mentioning to Kathy about some ‘ginger drops’ or ginger candy, which helped stave off the sickness. Kathy got some and they did help. Maybe worth trying?

Least they might help your tummy too? was nice of mk to take Billie for a walk.

Chic, it pays to keep calm like you and your son did, pleased you were safe.

Daisy, I managed to get some things dried on the line today. Before it rained again! I’m pleased you didn’t get forced into a visit from your friend.

Opi we could do with your whacker if this rain doesn’t give up and give hubby chance to cut the grass! It’ll be too long to use the mower!

I woke up from a really deep sleep and now it’s taking some time to wake up! I remember the days in the past when I sprang out of bed ready to start a new day. The springing has stopped!

Pleased to catch up on all the whines, love you guys xx

I just googled 'ginger for nausea' and got a lot of results. Ann, maybe you could ask your doctor on Wednesday if ginger might help you. I've always liked Vernors ginger ale because it tasted stronger than regular ginger ale. I remember as a kid, getting ginger ale when I was sick.

We're supposed to get T storms Monday morning. Scattered showers during the day. I am SO SICK OF RAIN!!

Good morning Whiners, I've nothing to whine about as yet other than all this rain we're having. It's pouring down this morning as it has done all night. I'm so fed up of it and if it doesn't stop soon my lawn is going to be like a field.

I'll hold your bag for you while you get the whacker Opi.

I'm sorry you're still suffering with nausea Ann, it must be a nuisance, hopefully they will give you something stronger on Wednesday,

I'll your bag too Venuscat, I'm not sure I like the sound of whacker's.

Be careful Hevyn, or should I say be afraid, be very afraid of that whacker.

Hi Mags, I don't think I'll be getting any washing pegged out today, it's awful out there. I think that they recommend ginger for morning sickness too if I remember rightly, it's certainly worth a try.

Back later xx

Yes, I remember, and I sip diet ginger-ale and suck on a hard candy through the worst of it and it really does help. I have some small hard candies that I got at a market, not too strong and not too big so I could suck them discretely anywhere. In all cases, it has been the medications alone that have bothered me, I feel fine when I don't take anything...but I need to keep the lesions at bay so meds are necessary. I will soon be able to move the meds to evening, that will leave my entire day all mine.

The sun is shining and it's warm but not hot so I'd like to get outdoors today...away from mosquitoes. I have a few errands to run and then the next two days will be in the city for more medical stuff...but that will be the end of the mega-medical days, from then on it's every two weeks for a month, then every 8 weeks. Yay.

And I can finally shut up about all this, lordy I do go on and on.

Happy Monday everyone...only 4 more "get ups" to the weekend.
