Well, um... I forgot about this thread for a while... Sorry folks

Anyway, I woke up with Cannibal Corpse in my head the other day (as one does) and searched for covers. I found this fantastic thing:

Just thought I'd stop by the thread and say hi....hope everyone's doing okay! So I saw Godsmack last month....holy crap I'm still going through withdrawals! They're going on tour to support their new album "When Legends Rise" if anyone gets a chance to check 'em out

Yesterday they headlined Rock On The Range, and Sully posted this clip of the crowd during one of their songs....saying "The beehives are swarming"

It gives me goosebumps!

Think I may go to see Lamb of God this summer again. The energy in the air at their show is what I crave!

Metal is just one of the genres I like. I have a wide, varied taste in music. Just been to see The Lancashire Hotpots last week, a comedy folk band.

However, I am going to see Slayer in November.

This is one of my favourites and I really like every version of this song that I've heard. Saw Emperor at the Astoria in 2006, they were excellent.

These were the first band I saw live as they were a local band. Another great song and a version of this was also on the Metal for Muthas vol 2 album.

I like this news story about two elderly men who left their retirement home and went along to Wacken Open Air:

When I was in hospital a few weeks ago, which in itself wasn't funny, obviously, the nurses do regular spacial awareness tests. Basically, who, what, where, when you are.

When I started feeling better, nearer my discharge, whenever they asked "Do you know where you are?" The urge to just shout "You're in the jungle baby!" was becoming far too strong.

Hiya! I got into a Blue Öyster Cult mood this morning and found this cover that made me very happy... especially the end part:

And as long as I'm posting stuff... the radio disney cannibal corpse reminded me of this excellent cover of one of my CC favorites. Who says millennials can't play metal? Oh, wait, that was me... I've said that many times... Perhaps I was mistaken

Edit... oh, haha, I already posted this... on the last page Oh well, it's good to listen to it again
