Someone to talk to. PM me. Let's get to know each other. I need to talk. Of course I will make you laugh...but I can be serious too.

Don't bother if you offend easy. I have no filter.

You sound like a fun person, lightbug.
Sobriety does NOT preclude having fun. I very much enjoy my life much better, NOT being a slave to my addictions.

Better! I got out of bed and accomplished things.

I think it really was the tooth.

Oh good, good. Was just about to suggest graphic novels,or audiobooks, or stories on youtube. I like to keep it fairly light, especially in early sobriety.

So, dancing on the desks... hm. I was hiding under mine. Don't do dancing. Although I can be a bud. Do tell what writers do you like? I think I read that you are a writer as well?

That is a genre I have tried a few times to get into- Sci Fi. It is hard for me because though I may like the ideas, I rarely enjoy the writing. I love Aldous Huxley and "Brave New World" is one of my favorite books. I have a little trouble with the genre being very male as well- can you recommend any female sci fi writers? I have read and enjoyed Nancy Kress- as a matter of fact I'd like to read Beggars In Spain again, it has been many years!

And have you ever seen a film titled "Code 46"? It is a scif i film that I really like though I can't say if it is hard sci fi- I am guessing not.

"Ask for me tomorrow and you shall find me a grave man"... gets me every time. I love it. I have not read Shakespeare! But thank you Ms Claire Danes and MR DiCaprio LOL.

I have read quite a bit though. I love fiction. Love it. I have recently dropped all shame about my love of fiction.

I mean when you get right down to it isn't everything a little bit fiction anyway?

Welcome! I insist on being happy in sobriety and not losing my kookiness and warped sense of humor...lol

LB's disappearance only reinforces my feelings of social rejection.

I meet a new friend... they run.
