TWO sweet tiny fawn

Dead on the road. So tiny, I can't believe they were walking.
The saddest thing I've seen in quite some time.
I have a hard time getting over this stuff.

I'm a wildlife lover and this will haunt me for months. How does a mother deer go on after losing both her young like that?

(((Jessie)))Nature seems so cruel sometimes. I am sorry. I know that hurt to see, as it hurts to hear about. there are many things every day like this, but we can help where we can.
Momma will be alright, and probably be pregnant again before long. Its sad, but animals don't think quite like we do, though I believe that they love and grieve their young. But they have to keep going, and I would guess that it distracts them.

hugs... watch some happy animal videos, of good endings. that helps.

It crushes me to see that, I had to pull over shortly after driving by them.
They were so tiny, I almost couldn't believe what I was seeing. I guess these tiny babies were just trying to keep up with mama. I can't help but wonder what the mother does after such a shock, there's no help for her, and she can't possibly understand what happened.
I really hope animals have souls. They are the truly innocent creatures that deserve an afterlife.

I'm sorry Jessie. Animals being hurt haunts me as well. They have souls. They are pure in every way, just living their lives, no ulterior motives ever. I hope you feel better soon.

That is so sad to hear Jessie.

I too try to be vigilant of as many little
treasures in life as I humanly can. Those
little ones like honey bees, walking sticks,
frogs that loose their way and end up in
our pool.

If I see them struggling, I find whatever
I can to fish them out and release them
to the warmth of Mother Earth to survive.

I know that I am powerless on saving
everything that crawls or flies. but I
can do my part to helping out those
little furry friends from dangers that
lurk around.

I have to remember that if they do
pass away that all im seeing is the
empty shell left as their little souls
have gone straight up to a better,
brighter, happier, safe place in the
heavens or Rainbow Bridge.

Now I can look up high and know that
all those big and small furry animals
are being taken care of and they are
frowlicking amongst many like them
all in no pain.

I can smile now and let the sadness
melt away.
