Every day is a new day, that's what I keep telling myself. The struggle is real. I'm in deep with this addiction to wine. I am searching for the answer how to turn it off. I feel lucky if I can keep it down to a daily minimum of just one bottle. I pray to God to take this addiction away. Some days I'm a fighter. Other days are a bit more challenging. Hopefully by putting this out there, starting today, I can find a new hope and believe in myself again.

you may be an alcoholic.

Other red flags that may qualify you as being an alcoholic:

-Don't want to go to your middle school child's choir performance because that means you can't drink.

-Hide your bottles because you think your spouse or partner doesn't know. (you are wrong, they do)

-Google pain symptoms that result from drinking too much alcohol.

-Wake up almost every morning and try to remember if you hurt anybody's feelings the night before.

-Avoid friendly invitations to places that don't serve alcohol.

-Make sure planned vacations are revolved around booze.

-Have days where you get so hungover you can't get up and feel like a total loser. (and you quit drinking again that day)

-Have prayed to God over and over to take it all away.
