Every day is a new day, that's what I keep telling myself. The struggle is real. I'm in deep with this addiction to wine. I am searching for the answer how to turn it off. I feel lucky if I can keep it down to a daily minimum of just one bottle. I pray to God to take this addiction away. Some days I'm a fighter. Other days are a bit more challenging. Hopefully by putting this out there, starting today, I can find a new hope and believe in myself again.

Day 19 - Sick

Body aches, sore throat, headaches, and fatigue and already I can tell you it's going to be a lot easier to manage since I am sober and feeling healthier lately. If I felt like I was getting sick, before getting sober, I may have taken the night off from drinking depending on how bad I felt. So when I didn't drink if I was too sick, I would always wake up the next day with a bit of pride for not drinking the night before. It didn't matter, I'd go right back to wine the next night.

I also am dealing with potty training a puppy and parenting a very chaotic and irresponsible 18 year old daughter. No sleep and stress is an OPEN sign for a weakened immune system. I'm curious to see what 19 days of sobriety can do to help fight illness.

I'm going to bed! Get out of here!

J/K! Nighty night, see you tomorrow
