Hello!

A place for bikers? Just what I need! Currently riding a 2013 Suzuki DL-650 (vstrom).

The temps in my town are just dipping down below 100 finally and it's time to start riding. I love getting out on all the fire roads arizona has threading the desert, it's beautiful and you don't have to worry so much about the cagers.

I used to ride 24-7-365 but these days my wife and I work together so it's the cage to work and rides for fun.

You are right about the heat Chris. I saw a
few bikers out and about this morning and
got soooo excited to see them.

We have our bike ready to roll for Daytona
in October and got a nice trailor to pull it.
It still doesn't take the place of getting on
the bike and riding it there and back. HOWEVER,
we have some experience in our back pocket
with riding to and from Sturgis and Daytona
quiet a few times which no one can ever take
from us.

The last time we went to Daytona in the
Spring several yrs back, we ran into a cold
front on the way home and was cold to the
bone....lol

So we have decided to trailor it since
we are not young chicks and men like
we once were, lol, and will trailor the
long trips and ride others closer to home.

Havent ridden this yr yet, so we are
anxiously awaiting for our time to set
sail and hit the road in a few more weeks.

We are hoping the weather is nice
since it will be the first time to take
a Fall trip with the bike. Sitting on
the deck over looking the beach is
something we are soooo looking
forward to with a cup of coffee and
a nice cigar.

Gotta get away from the heat soon.

Suzuki eh? I like my Japanese bikes. Currently have a Honda hornet 900 and a Kawasaki Vulcan custom 900.
Just hit the freezing point in UK today so getting a bit uncomfortable in the mornings.

Welcome

Welcome Tekink. I spent a summer in Casa Grande, so I know what you mean about waiting til it cools down enough to ride. Lucky you. I am looking out the window at a huge snow storm right now, dreaming about riding...
