Today, I am so grateful that I no longer react to negative things or people. I truly feel sorry for some people. They have no idea how to be happy, laugh or even smile.

Today I am grateful that I did most of my Sunday chores today. Grocery shopping, laundry, etc. I really just want to have a relaxing day tomorrow. I might even stay in my Pj's all day. lol

Grateful for big snow last night, I may stay in all day too LMN. Sunshine is deceiving, it's dang cold out there and just a little wind will blow the snow over the recently cleared roads.

I am grateful that I have everything in life that I need, everything else is just "stuff".

I missed a couple of days here, not sure how that happened but I am grateful that my mind works at least 50% of the time, lol.

I am grateful today for the smell of a pot roast in my oven, and for a warm and safe place to live. So many live with so much less.

I am also grateful for barred owls that live not far from my neighbourhood, they make winter bird watching worthwhile.

Today would have been my mother's birthday. She was a wise, warm, wonderful, strong and courageous woman who raised 3 children alone after my father died of cancer when I was 6. A woman of faith, she taught me that we are never alone, that God walks with us every day.

So, today I am grateful to have been raised by such a loving, dear woman, who taught me values and the courage to stand alone when needed, to stand for what is right.

Thanks for the memories, Mama, and for the love that remains in my heart.

Today, I am grateful for a rainy and cold (59 degrees) Sunday. I am so grateful I really don't have much today but stay warm and cozy in my little and peaceful home sweet home.
