TOOTHPASTE
Hello. I'm an anon, not an A. I am being mindful of Jon's recent admonition not to hold forth on subjects where you have no experience. Therefore, I will endeavor to confine this to things I do have experience with... quibbling and toothpaste.
This is a two part post. The first part requires you to do some research. Go to your local supermarket. Pick up a package of the most expensive tarter control toothpaste you can find. Preferably one that has a holographic sparkle on the tooth graphic. Good. Then pick up a package of the cheapest most ordinary toothpaste you can find. Read the active ingredients on both. Then come back here.

It's all about packaging. Manufacturer's devise appealing schemes to get you to buy their product... but the active ingredient is the same. You can pay more... and maybe you'll use it more if the flavor is more appealing... but your teeth aren't getting any cleaner for $3 more a tube.
So it is with recovery methods. The packaging is different to appeal to different tastes... but the active ingredient is the same. For those of you who don't know what that is... I'll just go crawl back under my anon-rock and let Jon or Pernell fill you in.

Smoke, I love that about the toothpaste. Once again, an addict, a patient and an alcoholic trying to tell help, how to help. If that were possible and workable. You would not have to look outside yourself for help.Help is what everyone addicted to alcohol and drugs needs. There are millions who need it but it is only for those who want it and will go to any lengths, take any direction given and be wise enough to keep your opinions to yourself and get the help, you say, you want.
And for anyone that is interested, I am an expert on the subject. I have about
thirty-five years using and seven years clean and sober also at this time licensed/certified to administer appropriate treatment.
