This post from last December really hit home, it helped me to finally acknowledge my realtionship with my mother is not one filled with 'hidden' love from her to me. It was hard to hear, but it was the truth. It allowed me to let go.

This shortish quote has changed the way I feel every day, I really do carry it around mentally and has enabled me to start to have a more positive outlook on my entire life...because it showed me how to think outside of the 'normie' box.
