I Feel Good
I feel good... I feel good *in* myself... I feel decent *about* myself.
There are still some emotional issues creeping up, but I'm not feeling sorry for myself over them, (living on PLUMS, "Poor Little Unfortunate Me Syndrome").
My sponsor said I need to "collect" my thirty day chip a few times this week in order to let everyone know, so I hit a couple of meetings today.
People kept asking me, "So how are you doing, GreenTea?" ... I'd respond, "I'm doing well, thanks!" ... They'd reply, "You look like you're doing well -- you look good!" -smiles-
I feel good.

Welcome to SR from me, I am sure others have already welcomed you.
Congratulations on your 30 days. That is totally awesome. remember too that you are giving back by taking the chip in two ways. One is that you inspire newbies that it can be done. Two is that you remind long time sober people of what they have been through and inspire them to continue.

Way to go Green Tea! We had this topic in a meeting the other day about being honest. Yes, sometimes when people ask me how I am doing sometimes I just reply doing OK, yet knowing that I am not, so this one guy said at a meeting. How are you doing, and he said not worth a sh!t but thanks for asking 
I guess he was being honest. I love sobriety it rocks huh!
