Day 4--Need SR friends to check in with me after peer pressure test this weekend
Hi all,
My first big test (peer pressure wise anyway) is going to be this weekend. I'm confident I'll pass the test but I almost KNOW I will if I have to write about it to my SR friends on Monday.
So if anyone is reading this I'd sure appreciate you checking in with me on Monday. I'd be happy to reciprocate.
Thanks again.

I'm glad you are inspired. I felt the same way when I first started coming here. I read and read and related to all the posts. I thought I had really hit the jackpot. Finding people just like me, whom I could converse with, find support in, and who understood me was very comforting. I was 2days sober when I first started posting here, hence the name. Now, I'm 2 years. We do it one day at a time and there is a solution. I am so grateful for that.
Good luck. What kind of test is it? If it's multiple choice then always pick 'D' if you don't know the answer. Really, good luck, and remember, what doesn't kill you only gives you long term emotional damage - I mean, only makes you stronger. I suck at inspiration.
I'll be here as well. You may want to write down some ways to say 'no', and practice them in the mirror before you deal with the 'test'.
Write them on flashcards just like you would for a regular test, and memorize them! Good luck

I've just got to let her do her thing and be a goood husband and not get defensive and hopefully she won't start putting the guilt trip on me once she's had a few...
And humor CAN be a form of inspiration BTW when positive--It breaks the ice and lets people laught at themsleves and not take themselves so seriously. Thanks for doing that for me.
Ill be here as well!!!!! Im here every day on and off throughout and I will be looking for an update. I agree with MNG, have a plan B in place at all times. If wife gets a few in her and decides to pick a fight or make snide remarks, be ready for it, most hotels have computer rooms now so if the one your in does and you need to "take a walk" come find us, we will be here to help you succeed.
