Today,
even though i have known for quite some time, i realized once again that i have some very good friends. One of them took the time to check out this site because i told her about it a couple of weeks a ago. she didnt tell me it was her but i know she has been following along until today, when she piped up and gave herself away.
Its nice to feel supported and i appreciate everyone here for just that. And i wanted to tell my friend the same thing. Thank you for being an ear and a shoulder.
After all the posts i have read today, it reinforces that we are all human with our own problems and diseases and all we can do is try.
it reminds me of the joe cocker song, a little help from my friends.
i hope you all have a great sober night, or at least a peaceful one and remember to say your prayers. Someone is listening.
