C'est la vie has 30 days!

Congratulations on 30 days!

I know it hasn't been easy
and you have had to do
some soul searching, but
you are getting there one
day at a time. Keep up
the hard work. You and
the efforts are well worth
it!

You've put the shovel down.

Now, the skies the limit.

Big hugs...

Holy man, what a surprise logging on today. Now I've got tears welling up in my eyes. Thank you so much for all the support and hugs (and kicks when necessary!)

It's been hard because I wanted to fight it so badly. I really have come to accept my lot. I'm not thrilled, but I accept it. My husband has been wonderful too which makes a tremendous difference in my attitude (he's really protective of my sobriety now, I love it).

I went to a meeting but I couldn't make it to the chip meeting, maybe next weekend. I told everyone there though because I'm nervous about the 30 day trigger combined with my hub being gone all next week.

Hey C'est,
This is sooo encouraging to hear! About your positive attitude and the support of your husband encouraging you in this direction. Surely all around you benefit as well.

I read last night:Nervousness is a malady that can be overcome by a specific medicine: calmness. It continued to suggest ways to achieve calmness, namely, through the power of positive thinking, eating well and exercizing properly, fresh air and sunshine, and putting yourself in good company. You KNOW you have a lot of support here, this is a very good place to be. Well wishes as you progress moving forward!

I wish I could give you my 30 day coin. I was presented with a two year coin last week at my Homegroup. It was given to me by a woman whom I never met before. It was an awesome moment for me, very special moment. It showed me how important we are to one another and how we help one another on there paths. I want to give back. I was shown the way, now I want to give back. I'm itching to give my 30 day coin to someone special. I wish it could be you. Perhaps airmail?

That is so sweet of you to offer, "we give back what we are so freely given" can have more meanings then one..I remember getting my first 30 day chip, and it was the real medallion, the heavy one, apparently it is rare to get those these days, ( so i was told ) anyways, i can remember crying when i got mine, it was so special to me, but like you, i hope to someday give back what was so freely given to me, and share what i had given myself, sobriety..

Mine is a medallion also, but I was mistaken. It doesn't have 30 days on it. But it does have a lovely butterfly. It was given to me early in sobriety and I think I received it around my 30 day mark. Yep, it's all about giving back...
