Hey tash,,,

Welcome to SR!! I'm glad you found us, and you never, ever have to
apologize for writing any post!! That's what we are here for.. So, post away.. Just please don't ever get discouraged if you don't get an answer right away, just keep on posting, and you will.. Also, there are other forums here, check them out of you have time.. You might want to check out the
substance abuse forum, or the narcotic anon forum.. Just a thought.. You will get answers here too..

Well, as far as detoxing goes, have you considered going to a doctor? Thats really your best option, as it can be dangerous to detox without medical supervision. We can give you alot of support here, but it's dangerous and irresponsible for us to give out medical advice..

There are great medical detoxes out there.. They can make detoxing much easier on you.. Or a doctor in an office setting can also prescribe meds that help with anxiety and other things that go on while detoxing..

We are here for you.. We can support you,, talk to you.. Pray for you..
Tell you how we got to where we are in our sobriety.. We really care.

I will pray for you.

Also, you might want to check into some meetings in your area, there are people in the meetings that will help you and support you.. Have you ever checked out any NA or AA meetings? Or Smart Recovery? You can google them, and find them in yoru area.. Or look them up in your phone book..

Keep on posting tash, we will be with you.

Prayers,
Becky
