tough week for me

its been a tough week for me. the people at my job are irritating me.i know,it happens,it passes, but with everything else.............my nephews 17 year old son died last weekend.there was a car accident involved, besides HEROIN.the poor kid didnt have a chance................in the midst of all this, his grandmother-my sister--i am being reminded again of how much her disease of alcoholism has progressed. they say she is down to about 95 lbs (at about 5'5"),losing bowel control, fighting with everyone and not wanting to do anything, including doctors, to help herself.her kids...my nieces and nephews are stressed to the max with all this.
i was seeing a guy for about a month....just sent him an email telling him i decided not to see him this weekend..........i see red flags....i aint doin that crap anymore. i think my great-nephews death helped me to see them even clearer. for that part,i am grateful.

(((SBS))) At the risk of sounding trite, I will say that it is the pain in our lives that makes us appreciate the joy. And I am wishing hard that you get some joy soon.

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time right now.
Though I'm sure the words are not really comforting - reach out to your Higher Power. Let your Higher Power hold you, comfort you, and guide you through the heartache. Hand it over to your HP.

Wishing you relief from the pain you feel.

When I read posts like your's, I have to ask why our Higher Power allows such pain and suffering in our lives. It is not in my finite ability to comprehend, but something tells me it was meant to be. You are in my prayers. I am so very, very sorry to hear that you are beset by so much tragedy all at once. All I can do is pray for you, and that the God of your understanding will give you a little peace from your pain. We all care about you and your situation!!!

I'm so sorry you are going through all of this.

It's in those toughtest times we need to pay extra attention to our needs and be gentle with ourselves. I'll be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers.

Sorry to hear about your nephew and sister. I agree it is times like this that makes one evaluate ones life. About a year ago, I lost a friend and co-worker from alcohol related. I didn't know she was an alcoholic and I confided with her about AH. She never said anything about her. When she died, I cried for days, because I wasn't there for her. This caused me to do a lot of soul searching. I felt she gave up...and I didn't want to give up with my life. So take care of yourself. My prayers are with you.
