old posts and stuff
Hi
I've just been reading through some of my old posts and to say I wanted to shout at my old self "get a grip!".
It's amazing how much I've changed, I can hear my voice in them but it's not me now.
Just weird!

Hi, That is a step in the right direction. That is indeed great. Denial is the hardest thing to deal with in codependency and dealing with someone who is an alcoholic, IMO. Isn't recovery wonderful. Intentify the problem and work on it!

Often times, I do look back through my old posts. For quite awhile, I did not fully share my personal life on this board but when I read the posts, I am reminded of what event(s) spurred the posts.
For me, those posts have come to show me "patterns". Not only of AH's behavior, but also my own.
I'm glad to see that you have had the chance to see your own recovery! That's what I love about those old posts!
Glad you are feeling good today and doing well.
