Yes, it's true i am!!
I am working on it thought and this morning realized that I am quite codependent.

Kathy had texted me this morning at 7:44 am and asked when the y opened but i had my phone on silent, woke up at 9 am or so saw the message and instead of as usual texting right back i fell back asleep and then woke up at 10:38am and messaged back that it was open.

I felt guilty almost for not responding earlier to her text...but....
she could call the y also....and as folks have been telling me i need to take care of myself also (the sleep)

That's great greenapple. EXACTLY right about her being able to call the Y herself to get the info. You cannot be her sole "go to guy" all the time. If you remain in your codie role, there is no time or consideration at all for you now is there??? IMHO, I think she is WAAAAAYYYY to accustomed to you jumping before she can even get the word "jump" out of her mouth. I'm glad that you are beginning to consider yourself and your wants/needs in this relationship. You deserve it. This is a huge baby step for you and it shows that your reading is paying off. The Al-Anon meetings will continue to help you tremendously I think. I'm very happy for you.
