Need a prayer please.....
I just got the call a minute ago that my good friend Charlie
has passed away.
Charlie was one of the loveliest men I have ever met.
Always smiling, always a joke, always there to make you smile.
Charlie leaves a wife behind, an alcoholic wife.
Charlie never had any children although I know he loved them.
Charlie battled cancer courageously for the last 4.5 years.
We had a benefit for him 14 months ago that no one at the time
thought he would even be able to attend. He did. He sang.
I loved Charlie many, many people did.
Charlile was only 45.
May God hold him in the palm of his hands.......

He loved Karokee (sp), he was really good at it too.
Right now all I can see is him in my head and he is singing
"Take a letter Maria."
I'll bet he is singing it to all the angels right now and I am
lucky enough to be hearing it too.
He will be missed.

Your words pierce my heart
The death of a true friend, someone you love and respect, is such a profound loss. I'm so sorry. You will see him again. May I recommend a book I've read at least 100 times. The first 10 pages are a bit dry but necessary. "Embraced by the Light". I believe every work in this book.
One brief hour...

Oh (((Patty))), I'm sorry about your dear friend Charlie. I know what it is like to lose a close friend. Prayers are going out to you and everyone who lost him. You'll be singing Karoake with him again one day so do not fret.

(((Patty)))......my sympathy to you and all the other people who loved him. He sounds like a lovely man who made the world a nicer place for many and left you nice memories to cherish. So sad he is gone, especially so young.
You and his family are in my prayers.
