Thanks to your "Down in the Trenches" thread yesterday and all the motivation the other posters inspired within me, I got my saggy ass to the gym yesterday and LOVED it. I felt great afterward and will be back again today.

You are so welcome.....
You mega are the reason I had my incline up to 7 this AM on the treadmill
and pushed myself another 15 minutes.....your comment last night about
hitting the treadmill got me...
Join us over at the OE forum we have a great thread on exercise that
some of us here @ F&F contribute to. That forum helps to keep me
motivated, well that and Emily too......

LMAO - (if it were only as easy as laughing it off)

patty - watch that incline stuff combined with walking lunges - that's what got my a** in trouble! LOL

glad you got motivated again mega - it does feel good doesn't it!

Oh no....don't worry about me Christie....I am doing no lunges on that treadmill
believe you me....
I've always been a power walker so 4.5 and a 7 incline is pretty typical for me.
Anything beyond that I am in trouble...lol
BTW how is that a** doing anyway?....LOL

So does that mean you can have Fried Chicken tonight?

I'm not sure if I'm buying this whole exercise related butt injury thing. You sure you're not seeing someone and keeping it to yourself? Like this "trainer" guy as you CALL him?

If you're holding out on some steamy details there's going to be hell to pay young lady!

LOL, jazz reading between the lines raised my curiousity as well, heehee.

Certainly her story is true, cuz if it weren't nobody would speak of a sore behind ....at least that is one steamy detail I'd keep to myself, heehee....

good for you mega. too bad that isn't motivating me, LOL

Jazz: So does that mean you can have Fried Chicken tonight?
Bwwwwahhhaaa-- yes, as a matter of fact I do justify eating fried chicken in that way!! LOL.

Good Patty- I'm glad you busted it b/c of the thread too. I had my incline up to 7.5 at one point, but had to keep my speed at 3.6 or I would have choked or something LMAO. It was good though and maybe I'll begin visiting the OE board a little more now. I think I've posted there a couple of times.

C'mon Sunshine!! Join in... you know you wanna! You can do it... just do some stretches or something at home if nothing else. It'll make you feel better.

okay, okay....I'll try.

An interesting point is this: When you start feeling better about yourself, when you start doing for yourself, you also start letting go more of the "ick stuff." It's hard to do for you when you hang onto the ick. Letting go of the ick is scary.....it's like actually moving on....YIKES, I didn't realize I was hanging on but in many ways I still am. You spend so much time feeling bad, to feel good is like betraying them or something, LOL...........not sure if that makes sense.

to burst your bubble jazz, but my trainer is a 25 year old girl! LOL

my sorry, sore a** is mine alone unfortunately. hmmmm....maybe i can find a male masseuse to help ease the pain?

patty - that's a pretty good clip you do. I did 5 incline and THEN the walking lunges with hand weights - that's what did me in they think. not very steamy of a tale huh? actually i was trying to build up my bootay so i went a little too gung ho.

Don't get me started on that LOL!!! Calm down Jazz .

Sunshine- I know exactly what you mean about the ick stuff! It is hard to feel good about oneself and do for oneself when so involved in the drama of another. I went to the gym again this evening for the lower body workout and really, after only 2 visits to the gym, I really do feel better. I'm gonna keep this up.

I've made up my mind to go somewhere tropical for my birthday in November. I WILL be sporting my bikini w/no self-confidence issues this year so help me!!
