What are you currently reading?

There are a lot of books that have been recommended on this site - as well as books that we've probably read and not recommended. However, I was wondering what you all are currently reading?

I checked a book out of the library today by Beverly Flanigan called Forgiving the Unforgiveable. I'm not too far into it at all yet but it's been an interesting read so far.
( I also had the library request another book for me from another library I've been trying to get my hands on for awhile now called Woman Who Love Too Much. It should be here early next week. )

So what are you reading?

I'm reading the basics...Beyond the Influence. It's really amazing what the brain is capable of. Unfortunately one of those things is addiction.

I'm reading "A Ghost in the Closet" and the Big Book. I'm always reading another book, too, that is non-addiction related.

Language of Letting Go, Beyond Codependency, Al-Anon's Paths to Recovery.

Also re-reading The Notebook....I think it's important that not every waking minute is devoted to recovery...there's GOT to be a sprinkle of entertainment and not-so-serious stuff mixed in. I think what I'm referring to is 'a balance'!!

I've read most of the suggested books, but the one I keep going back to is "The Road Less Traveled" by M. Scott Peck. I find it inspires me when I am feeling low. And I also get more out of it each time I read it.

Claiming Your Self-Esteem by Carolyn Ball. Haven't got to the part yet on how to claim it if you don't have any.

Well no recovery books for me this time around, but a great thriller by Dan Brown called "Angels & Demons" ...... a prequel to the DaVinci Code.
