I need your prayers tonite
I've posted before about my daughter---well this time she really did it
Got a message from my son in law and she took off with the kids and drove through bad weather to another area of the state ----no less to visit an old boy friend. Now she is 35 dragging three kids who should be in school tomorrow and driving a pickup that shouldn't make it across town much less across state.
Thank God for all of you. Its you and my hubby that keep me sane. I'll keep reading my "Choices" book and TRY and remember she made those choices and I can't do anything abouth them

Hello Distraughtmom:
I know exactly how you must be feeling about your daughter leaving with the children to meet the boyfriend. I'm fairly new to the forum and cannot begin to give advice, but I've been through it all. I've cried, prayed, worried, paced, gone without sleep, etc. didn't do me one bit of good. I think the best thing for us to learn is to let go, and turn it over to God. Whatever is going to happen will happen no matter how many emotions we go through. By now, she's probably back and the children are in school (I pray). I guess we just don't have the power to control anybody or any situation and this is why we have to turn it over to our HP.
Try and take care of you! Hugs, Devastated

I'll say an extra prayer that all is well with your daughter and your grandchildren Distraughtmom!
Thank the good Lord that you have your husband there supporting you. Don't worry about them missing school because today is a Holiday. At least it is in California. My daughter doesn't have school today. The Lord is watching over those precious kids, I just know it!!!
Keep coming back for support,

Hey Distraught,
Got to your post late, but I think prayers for you and your family are still in order. So you are going on my prayer list and will stay there.
Love,
Hangin' In

My prayers are with you too.
I know too well that there is not much else we can do, but I also believe that our children have an extra supply of gruadian angels watching over them. Turning it over to God, is putting them in good hands.
