Hello all,

I have a friend/coworker who is suffering from a pain pill dependancy. He has gone cold turkey two days ago and I really want to see him succeed and get well.

I hate to see friends suffer. Any suggestions to make the process easier for him would be greatly appreciated.

I think your firend should see a doctor, sometimes withdrawing from a narcotic pain killer can be a bit dangerous. I think praising your friends success is great. I think reminding your friend of the new unenslaved life that lies ahead is also great. I do think a wise plan is going to be the most likely to succeed. I'd include a doctor.
