I jest thought i would say hi and share some of what happened at a meeting i went to last night.Some of the people that have been in the program for a while always say i dont think i would make it back if i drank and wow it is so true at times.We have a couple who were sober for a long time around 5yrs and they fell off together and wow it sure has been hard for them to come back,cause they keep falling off again and again.I can remember doing the same thing myself and THANK GOD that God was watching for me and now with this couple commin back i know what it was like again and how hard the journey was once again.I learned alot from them last night to NOT stop going to meetings and reading the big book.So please any of you folks that are thinking of going out and drinking again its not worth the hardship of trying to do it again.Take it from a drunk who once did it over and over to.Thanks for letting me share...Dave..

Hi Dave

I can really relate to what you say. We have had 2 busts over thwe xmas season, 1 with 16 years, and 1 with 14 years. Both are back, and acknowledge the fact that they had dropped off meetings, and lost their contact with HP.

1 girl took 5 months to get back, and J took 7 years.

Me? I dont need any more evidence than that .
