Signed by Melodie
As a countdown to 52 Weeks of Conscious Contact, Hazelden is giving away one copy a week of Codependent No More. This is the 15th anniversary edition, personally signed by Melody Beattie and featuring a new introduction. Quantities are limited--it's sure to become a keepsake. Ann, I am not sure if Jon has a special link but here is the link I found on the site. I tried last year a few times for a Melody book but didn't win

Thanks Jon,
I entered, but I also ordered a copy of the book. I loaned mine to someone a long time ago and never got it back. I sure need another copy and if I win, I know a couple of people that might benefit from it also. Happy Friday.

My Heart is a Stone That Bleeds
Hello Everyone, Hazelden is great to give away books that are meaningful and helpful. My publisher is not so generous and even charges me for copies of my own book then excludes the number copies I buy from the royalties. Otherwise, I would give away a lot more copies than I have already. I enjoy being a writer and putting my story in print has helped to heal me in many ways. But in the end I am finding out the book business itself is very much removed from the writing business. With the exception of a few visionary publishers our stories might never be available for everyone. At some point I could use some feed back on the story from people who are like me. Thanks again for your help with my difficult passage, Karl
