Angry Ex-Wife totally out of control now...procedure for children services?

how does it work? Can they be contacted annonamously? Stepdaughter stays at home by herself while my ex wife drinks at bars all nite. She eats hydrodocone like candy and has been known to do coke.

Hey Chatta,
I've never dealt with this, but it sounds like you want to step in and do something. I think that is admirable and something you should do. I'm sure a few phone calls and Jazz's link will get you started. Best - TG

Hey there Chatta

Just want to let you know we are here and just one little piece of info.

Please do what you need to do, but be prepared if the results are not what you are looking for. At 12, they may not do alot, if there is food in the house and the child is not physically abused. I have been in your position before and it seems to take alot for action from that service, my step-kids were younger when they were living with drug/physical abuse....

BUT ... at least it will be on record, and you dont know, someone else might have already called and this could push it.

Take care of you.

If the house in which they live is clean
there is food and your stepdaughter seems
mature enough, nothing will probably come of it.
Unfortunately there is no set age limit, it goes by
the level of maturity....
If you are worried then a call to the agency is well worth
your time...they will evaluate the situation....
Good luck and I am sorry for your stepdaughter.
