Hi.I didn't know I was codependant until now.
Hi.I posted a thread on here about my codependancy,and got no replies.I would like someone to hear and reply to my story.I really need stories to compare with,and just someone to hear me.....please reply.....Ashley

It can be a bit confusing, there are a lot of forums here. This section is sort of reserved for just stories, no responses. BUT there are heaps of other forums that do discussion, have a bit of a look through. There is a "Women in recovery" section, "Alcoholism" section and plenty of others.

I'm an addict/alcoholic first...then through the program realized I'm also an ACOA and severely codependent, I'm sure that there's a few other 12 step groups that I could benefit from as well...
But first things first...if you're in recovery for alcohol & drugs how's that going...cause you can't work on "relationship" problems if one or both of you are still active.
