For the Guests here at SR
Hi my friends and members!
You know while about to get worked up over a particularly impolite persons comments to posts, I remembered something.
We have many more guests than members visiting the Friends and Family board on many occasions.
While I am in no way scolding anyone (Far be it for me...) I just want us all to remember that many people come here for support and need to read and review our posts for a period of time before becoming comfortable enough to post their comments or need for support. If I was a visitor and saw that responses consisted of shut up and get over it, or you are stupid, I would not feel compelled to open up here.
I for one, do not like the implication that codes are a bunch of loose cannons and that the support offered at SR consists of "shut ups" and "just leave the jerks." That is not supportive in any way shape or form.
For the visitors, please stick around and remember that like anywhere, there are people whose actions do not reflect the beliefs of all.

I for one, have found the recent posts of a rather new member appauling.
Honesty and being upfront is one thing, but ignorance and hostility is a whole
different ballgame.....
As always take what you need and leave the rest.

I agree Idget about ignoring them.....
but....
Newcomers and guests may get the wrong idea if they see posts and posters like...
well..... like the most recent one we have been dealing with.
99% of everyone I have come in contact with here at SR have been wonderful and helpful....just hate it when the bad seeds show up....
but....

Huh. I wish somebody'd let me in on who the "recent one"** is, 'cos I'm not sure I've seen his/her posts (that, or I'm in denial. Or maybe I've just filtered out the hostility?).
