He got the job!!
He got the job!!
£23K a year and a company mercedes thrown in!! I think that's about $40,000!
It's just good news - for today, right now, good news. AND HE WAS HONEST about being on medication for depression and anxiety which gives me faith that they're good employers.
I'm going to try to get Mon, Tues, and Weds off, he starts on Thurs - me being here has made a difference and if they will let me take it as leave I'd rather have him start from the best point possible. Things like getting out more inbetween and having good productive days. If they won't let me take it as leave though I won't use sick - that wouldn't feel right at all.
The support that should have been there hasn't been, I think there was a real point that I knew largely it would be down to us - I put what I could in and D has done the same. Maybe it was worth more than I first thought.

You know, I just had a feeling this was going to work out for him, when I read the other post about his interview!!!
And you're right; the fact that he told them upfront about his depression/anxiety really shows it's a company with fine people at the helm. And that honesty may have been the deciding factor! At least they know he's honest and taking care of himself. Far better than a crap shoot with someone else!
Congratulations to him!!!
And I'm happy for you!
Shalom!

I keep going round singing 'Oh lord won't you buy me a mercedes benz.....'
If you knew us in real life it'd make you laugh too! Below is a picky of where D's Dad has worked up to 70 hours a week to raise his kids, my background was a boarding house for homeless men my parents ran! We SO ain't from a mercedes background, it keeps making me giggle like hell!

I think I'm going to teach myself the dance of the banana!! AND by tonight we might be in the big bedroom - no more walking over the bed to get in it!!!
I'm just celebrating this for here and now, it's a good thing.
Me in a merc????
