yea I did it.

I just got back from my parents house for thanksgiving dinner and all of my family drinks, I knew there would probably be alchohol there but I felt it wasnt my place to ask them not to have a glass of wine or anything while I was there. But I made it okay. Yea I did think of drinking only for about 5 minutes and I came close to go outside for a walk but the urge went away pretty quick. I am very happy that I made it okay, but I know all it takes is once and I am back to my old ways. Sorry if this sounds corny but I feel good and had to share.

Congratulations for getting through Thanksgiving sober. I know how hard it can be. Keep up the good work. Sobriety is something to be very thankful for.

That is great! This is definitely something to be proud of!! You just grew so much stronger in your sobriety. It isn't easy sometimes, but staying sober is worth every bit of what we put into it.

Nice job! It will get easier. I had a few moments myself yesterday, but I am glad I did not pick up that first one.
