Life with a Rollercaoster
175 days sober today, this week has been a rollercoster, but I made it one day @ a time.
I guess I put extra pressure on myself by giving up smoking 6 weeks ago, but it was making me sick and I was repeating patterns with cigs that I was doing with alcohol, basically isolating myself.
Its Sat Morning here and its sunny and beautiful, going to tidy up in and around the house today. Also today I will finish a long term project with a friend, we have written an add-on to a popular Net package and will be ready to hand it over for sale shortly, its taken two years in my spare time, but should return quite a bit.
Two friends dropped in early this morning just to say hello, that was great. Life is so different now even if my brain gets screwed up sometimes and tells me its no different. I have friends, some money sometimes peace of mind, laughter and am much healthier.
Anyway here we all go one day @ a time.
