Favorite slogans and why.....
The first slogan i saw,was on da wall,at an Al-anon meeting, and once seeing it i cried. It said,.....you are no longer alone...And this solgan is very dear,to my heart. For when i came to recovery i sure felt all alone, inside.,and outwards. Those good folks who i shared with, before coming to the recovery rooms, did not believe that my life was as bad as i said it was.No household could ever be that messed up.They said i was exsatrating, making things up.Couldnt get through to anyone.Sharring my thoughts/feelings,others did not understand. When i saw this solgan,i finally realized, that im no ,longer, all, alone. And my tears were of,of joy, pure joy that not only have these folks walked my walk, but most importantaly, there is....recovery.I no longer have to live this way anymore...And i havent, through God,s Grace, and recovery programs!!!
Thanks for letting me share,
God Bless,and take care!!!!

Today I came home from work and the solgan "Let It Go" and "how important is it " calmed my nerves (i work for attorneys, need i say more).
I LOVE "Keep It Simple". Less is more. I've cleaned out my closets to the point there is hardly anything left. I wonder if I should buy some junk just so my place isn't so empty, I can almost hear an echo. (he-he)
Some solgans not from Ala-non but I need daily are:
Chose your response.
Think before you speak (one day I'm going to tell the guys I work for what I really think, I'm just waiting until I'm ready for a job change)
I need the solgans in everyday life not just in dealing with the alcholic.
