Hello everyone,
This is a big step for me tonight. I've been married to my husband for 22 years and I think he's always been an alcholic. Our son, who is in his 20's is addicted to drugs and alchohol.
I have a question. Why, when I click on threads, do I not see the original post, only the replys? I must be doing something wrong.

cause you need to leave that post and then you will go back and look at replies I think not sure there is a place to check though at the top of the newcomers board...Anyway I am glad that you are here at SR and I hope that all will be well..I will send some good thoughts and prayers your way...

I am also the wife and mother of alcoholics. I chose Al Anon about 10 years ago and because of that I have managed to salvage a real mess and turn it into a fairly respectable life. Today I can say that I am happy.
