Got to be the Full Moon

Ok exA called Friday and Saturday nights both times drunk and slurring on his voice messages.
He called again about an hour ago, I answered cause it said unknown on the caller id.
He was really drunk. Big surprise.
Said something about he is a "free spirit"
Is that what they call being drunk these days....
or was he just trying to tell me the bar was giving "free spirits"
I told him I couldn't understand him and hung up.
He hasn't called this much in a very long time....
it's almost like he senses me moving on...
could he possibly know I am dating again, somehow....
...how long is this full moon gonna last.....
We all seem to be really struggling the last few days.....

Hey I never thought of the moon - perhaps we should all go outside have a damn fine howl (bow wow style - not sniff style)!!

I used to howl with my old dog - okay that's an embarassing confession, I'm going to hide now!

Too funny! Maybe it is the moon, bc D has been on this rant for about the last 2 weeks where he tells me over and over in his drunken state that hes tired of people walking all over him and hes "his own man".
What in the he** is that supposed to mean?

At least we can laugh about it !

full moon has me in its grips... egad the nightmares i have had lately are surreal. always trying to get away and yet being drawn back into it.. over and over and over.. waking up crying... yeah.. its gotta be the moon.

the lack of sun affects me too.. the days are getting shorter and the nights.. oh so long and unbearable unless i am so busy i fall into bed exhausted. i am going to go start tanning again. its good for my mood to do it for 15 minutes twice a week. i feel so much calmer.

Hi; on another site (http://www.GettingThemSober.com) this phenomenon is often noted. Evidently it is so common, it is referred to as "alcoholic radar". As soon as they (somehow?!) feel that we have REALLY detatched..........they sense it and re-appear as if by magic!

Strange you'd mention the moon. I was doing fairly well the last week or two and today I nearly broke down in tears at work. Another woman actually did (though still don't know her story, another suffering soul I beleive).

I can see it rising through my window...behind a tree. It looked just like one of those spooky cartoons. All it needed was a bat!

I've been in a real funk too. It's rained here for a week, no sun at all. I get wacky with the full moon too. Great idea smoke. Kerry

I recognized this in myself ages ago and until now, I have never heard people talk about it.

Let see, I am a drunk, co dependent, carb addict, drug addict and now a full moon wimp.

That should just about cover it, now where do I start?

Never underestimate the power of the moon.

I went sailing this weekend and actually saw the tide turn. Out at sea. The water started moving in the other direction. And that is ruled by the moon. Why wouldn't we be affected too?
