Hi Everyone...
I was out of town for a few days . My daughter is getting married in another city this summer what a chore trying to plan a wedding in unfamiliar waters! Plus getting used to her new "man' around all of the time. I actually found that a bit depressing as it was always just the two of us shopping etc...she is my one and only girl and we are real close. I hate to say it but this feels like a loss to me. : ( I have to change that to a positive feeling !
The"A" on the other hand graduated from his IOP program signed on for an extended program and is going to his AA meetings! I have to give him credit...he is really working on himself. He was also blessed to find out that he has done virtually NO damage to his body even if he did have the seizureand consumed enough vodka to killfor the past years! Everything seems to be fine so says the doctor. Can you all believe it? What a lucky man he is.
He has been pressuring me to get back together sooner...I have told him to back off or it will not happen.
I have missed you all...I see some new names..WELCOME TO ALL OF YOU! I have read your posts...this is THE place to be, stick around you will find so much help here!

Glad to hear things are going well. It sounds like you have a good perpective on things and you can rejoice in the small victories and not live in the What If's and If Only's - just for today, anyways.
I also admire your boundaries. I am practicing some of those myself!!
