It was so sad when I heard the news this morning. Of course, we all knew he was dying; he made the announcement himself. I guess I just didn't expect it to be so soon after the announcement. He was very young....
Shalom!

I didn't even KNOW he was dying! It was a shock! At first I thought it was a joke! So sad!

Peter Jennings was a giant, in the mundane and plastic world of network news anchors. His class, wit, intelligence and above all, curiosity about the affairs of the human species, will be hard to replace in the near future, if ever at all.

RIP Mr Jennings.

What I liked about him, he gave the news as it was and wasn't into the sensationalism as others were. He was sensitive about it and also he had a good sense of humour.
