I don't know where to begin...

I'm not sure why I'm even posting anything right now...I guess because I'm trying to reach out and grab some sobriety...........again. I still use and want to stop. I liked me when I was clean and sober. I'm hatin life because my life has become unmanageable and I want to surrender.

Does anyone know of any meetings online?

Lightbulb Hello

I am glad you are seeking sobriety once more..
like you I had many f false starts.

The only failure is to quit trying.

Look under the forum Misc. for meetings here.
They are usually posted here in Newcomers as well.

Why not come over to Alcoholism and read?
We have several interesting posts going on.

Blessings...

Thanks you guys. I am getting off work early so I can go to the place I used to go for meetings to do my paperwork and attend a meeting. I have a great boss that is willing to work with me on my hours to coordinate with meetings...I am very grateful for that...and your guys advice.

Well again...thank you. I am about to go to the book store and get some NA stuff. I know I can get the literature at NA meetings, but I'm not real comfortable with those meetings right now. I have my home group for "beginners" if that's what you want to call it. For now I'm going to start there and the councelor I've had for almost 2 years is all into AA and NA, so I'm thinking about hanging out with her more often or something to introduce me to people so I can find a sponsor.

That's another thing........Are there sponsors online? Is that possible to have??? An online sponsor? Just a question....

It's probably possible to have an online sponsor, though I'm not sure how you would go about doing it. You might try this website, I don't know much about it, but it came back from a Google search. http://nickscape.net/recoveryzone/online_sponsor1.htm

Of course http://na.org is a good starting place for the NA life. Good luck on your new life. Take care.
