Digger here I am a ALCOHOLIC
Can anybody please tell me why I feel so good, this is my 8th day sober but ive just lost 2 jobs that i really wanted, my wife is giving me hell, my two sons a very weary of me and will not let me get close and reason with them, most of my friends have given up on me, i am about to finish the one job i have this week so money will be tight! But i feel bloody GREAT, WHY??????

(((((((((Digger)))))))))) Glad you are doing so well! There are a number of reasons for you to be feeling so good. First, a person's body isn't meant to be poisoned with toxins (intoxicated) and functions much better without them. Second, people often experience a sort of "pink cloud" of emotions in the first weeks and months of sobriety. Beware, though, you are likely to experience a roller coaster ride of feelings during that time as well. I would hate for you to lose your resolve when you have a not so good day. Finally, you probably feel good because you have finally made a positive choice for your life and recognize that although things are not great right now, they will only get better!
