first time
I do not know where to start so I guess I will jump in with both feet right? I am a single mother of a 7 month old boy and I live with the fact that my parents, both re-married are alcoholics. My father and I had a recent falling out because of it and it kills me because i refuse to call after the nasty things he had said. Don't get me wrong, I love my father but I am tired of the way he has abused my sister and I over our lives, mentally I mean. I am a failure and will never amount to anything according to him. I have no problem walking away but now it's affeecting my son, his grandson. I know he loves him but I feel it's not right that I subject my son to the nastiness of him. If anyone is from the Colorado area and can tell me how I can connect with a local alanon meeting I would appreciate the help.
