I got the apology -- and I DESERVED it!
I've waited 3 weeks. The apology came. The HEARTFELT apology. He also said that it won't happen again. Some may laugh, but I've never gotten an apology - and never one with recognition of the action.
Does this mean he is out of the woods? Nope. He knows it and I know it. I am living my life and making my goals pursuant to my own course. He may either be a part of the problem or a part of the solution. With my babies as a factor, he will either shape up or I'm shipping out.
He earned his way out. Now he may either stay there or earn his way back in -- and make it permanent. Either way I will be better off.
Let's have some HIGH FIVEs for ME!
