Sorry hit the enter before I was through.
ExA was hospitalized yet again 19th time since January 2004. The gave him a MRI first time they have done this in the 19 times in detox. He said his Dr. said he has had several mild strokes. He asked me if I thought they could be alcohol related...well duh, you drink to excess, heart rate goes up, blood pressure goes up while binging....doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. I asked him what his DR said caused them and he said he didn't ask him....They told him this last admit to ER on Monday he almost died. He is out of the hospital today, still not in a inpatient program, (no insurance since he lost his job) and the VA Hospital doesn't have a bed at the moment. I am leaving for vacation on Monday 6-20 I can't wait, I don't want to be around for the final ER trip ...you know the one that results in DOA.
So incredibly sick of this disease.......
Love, Patty

My father-in-law suffered from what are called TIA's. Mini strokes. I'll try this once, but don't laugh. Trans ischemic attacks....I think...If anyone medical is out there, my apologies. They are serious and as told to my father in law, alcohol could be a major cause of them.

Like Sanford used to say, "It's the big one, Elizabeth". The big one usually follow the mini ones.

Have a wonderous, marvelous, grandest, happiest and all that other stuff...vacation.

I am sure it does not help.

Enjoy your vacation.
